It’s not a massive Iceland but very handy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many folk in there it was heaving.January spends - £587.581

My scars have usually healed a lot quicker than that Beanie....the only other time it took so long was when I had MRSA in a drain site 14 years ago but the big scar healed as soon as the stitches came out at about 10 days. I said they’d be better off putting a zip in the first time they opened it.....shows you shouldn’t jest in case it comes true. It’s the 5th time it’s been opened fully now - that’d better be the last 😳👍
I don’t blame you leaving the things that suit you out of the cupboard Beanie....your house, your rules and it’s down to you to do what’s best for you.
I’ve just had a chat with somebody from work.....it’s a bit like a sinking ship with staff leaving and several isolating. Half of me feels bad for being off, the other half pleased to be out of the stress 😏 I told her I have a meeting with HR but not said much more about it.January spends - £587.581 -
Iceland inside The Range sounds interesting . A bit like the Costa inside my city centre’s Primark 👍
Shame about the palaver with the kitchen though. Just think when it’s done all this will be a distant memory 🙂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
Dh was getting in a state about the kitchen again.....everywhere is a mess and there’s been lots of niggles along the way and waiting until December for the worktops has been the icing on the cake. I’ve reminded him it’s a week and a half away....in the grand scheme of things and the curveballs life has thrown at us - it’s a minor glitch. Annoying all the same but could be a lot worse.....we will get there with it 👍👍 It’ll probably take me until Christmas to sort it out though😂😂😂😂January spends - £587.582

The cheese and onion toastie sounds delicious.
We haven’t got that many independent shops in the centre of our town but the old market area that is being done up proper posh now and had lots of independent eateries opening. It’s a bit of a drag away from the main shops though. I hope they’ll come through the lockdowns in tact.
We’ve been to see relative in our bubble today. Lovely risotto for tea. It was just nice sitting somewhere that isn’t a building site 👍January spends - £587.583 -
It’s horrible having work done on your house but worth it when it’s done. I’m having new front bay windows and front door done in January. Then it will be replastering the living room and bedroom followed by painting, new furniture, etc, never ending but will be worth it in the end.

Who’d have thought oven cleaning services would be so much in demand! I’ve been phoning around several companies today, posted a job on Checkatrader and rated people and absolutely no joy until after Christmas......except 2nd December which is when the builder is finishing the cupboards... I’m tempted to give the oven a go myself....apparently there are bags you can soak the trays in to clean them. I might investigate.....
I’ve arranged to go Christmas shopping with ds the 1 st week in December he’d just confirmed the day he’d taken holiday from work. Half an hour later the consultant phoned me to go in and have the injection in my hip on 8th December.....but I need to isolate 3 days before and 3 days afterwards.....so the only nice thing I’ve had arranged for ages is scuppered again. At least it’s better than waiting until January for the injection. What does s@ds law always kick in 🤔😳😂😂😂😂
So far today another NSD...as was yesterday. Corned beef stew for tea...I might break the NSD if I find oven cleaning stuff....but it’ll save me a fair bit of cash if I do it myself 😄....or better still get dh on board 👍😄

I’ve used the oven cleaner with bags to soak the shelves in. They’re good but make sure you put the bags outside as the fluid bleached a bit of my kitchen floor 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
