It's one thing after another for you at the moment, not what you need. I really hope things start to settle soon and the tried and trusted treatment does the trick. Have a lovely time with DD.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I hope the trusted treatment works . Is DD staying a few days ? I bet she has been worried about you .At least DH is back in work , sometimes you just need space to get used to adapting to the situation , if that makes sense . Take care .

I’m not sure if dd is staying overnight or 2 nights. Officially she’ll be working from home - just my home. But I know she won’t settle until  she’s seen me with her own eyes. She’d been freelance at the same place for years until the virus but decided to go on the books for a little added security. However she now has to answer more  to her bosses . But for now she has a job and I’ll get to spend time with her so life is good. 👍
She had very serious tummy troubles similar to me in 2010 - it was worse watching her go through it than when I had the original surgery. So we’re very much ‘in tune’ - thankfully she didn’t need a stoma and is mostly ok now.

I’ve had 2 lots of nurses around this morning and everything is going in the right direction. Still shattered and feel like I’ve done 10 rounds with Mohamed Ali but I’ll get there again 🤪

Spent £25 yesterday on an order for some acidifilus and some Manuka honey. The honey really helped an infection I’d acquired in my scar after previous surgery....it’s healing slowlyagain  this time so can’t do any harm to ward off the gremlins. 🤞🤔

Just had an e mail from hr dept and I’m going on half pay - I expected it. But I’ll get statutory sick pay on top which is a bonus I wasn’t expecting.
dd has just left for home. I wish she wasn’t so far away......missing her already.
