I’ve been sitting in the garden on a comfy chair for a while this afternoon and dh went out to post a letter so I went for a ride in the car- complete with pjs and dressing gown. I didn’t leave the car and felt like I’d done a days work after my ride. I felt every bump. This is going to take some getting over......but mind over matter and all that.
I’ve changed my mindset from a getting fit for work in my previous sicknesses  -  to - getting fit for me. At this moment in time I don’t  envisage being back at work again, but that doesn’t define me - I can still get better FOR ME.
Night night - I’m off to bed now. 🥱

Well what a morning. I ended up ringing out of hours as I’ve got the worst thrush infection I’ve ever had. My 1 st instinct was to buy a good over the counter medication which I’ve used many times before- usually costs about £15. But a little part of me wanted to make sure I didn’t have a water infection. Long story and lots of phone calls later is I haven’t got a water infection and I’ve been prescribed a cream....all this without seeing a person. I was advised to go back to hospital in case I have water retention- not.a.chance.......my dd is coming tomorrow and I have every intention of being around to see her. I am still passing water even though it’s a tad painful. If I stop being able to pass I will go to hospital- it’s all a tad annoying with this COVID and no person to person consultations.
ill give this cream until tomorrow then will send somebody out to buy the tried and tested well known make if it doesn’t improve.

Ds came around today. It’s not ideal as he can’t get up stairs but we managed. What a blooming family of Demics 😂😂 I need the downstairs bathroom making sooner than soon.

I’d thought of that and will order some. Thanks INOD.
ive sent dh to work - he needs some normality and I need some time on my own with out the feeling of being watched to make sure I’m ok. He’s plated me lots of nibbles up so I can eat and will be home in less than 10 minutes if I phone him.I need to get my head around the changes that have happened to me. I just feel a bit numb - I suppose I’m still in a bit of shock. I just feel wiped out tbh.
Im looking forward to seeing my dd later. Not sure what time train she’ll be on
waiting for nurses to come out.

No wonder that you are in shock.
It all happened very quickly & it is a lot to get your mind around.
    Enjoy seeing your DD.

Dd will be here at 9 tonight. I’ve phoned dh to bring me some of the trusted thrush treatment as the stuff prescribed is next to useless. Hopefully I’ll feel better once that kicks in.
District nurse has been out to pack/change dressing and I’ve  had all the clips out. I’ve eaten some of the food dh left me and I might just have a snooze 🥱
