Glad to see things are moving in the right direction for you. I think retiring earlier through ill health might be a wise decision, it's no good waiting for retirement only to be too ill to enjoy it π
I have an old Β£20 note in my purse that DD1 gave me,I took it to the bank to change it and she told me they are still legal tender so I can spend it or pay it into my account and then draw a new one out of the cash machine,I had no idea they were still legal tender Β ΒOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = Β£17,630 Paid To Date = Β£6,736 Owed = Β£10,8942 -

A friend from work has been around with a card the children made and a beautiful bunch of flowers. She stayed just over an hour and filled me in with all the goss. Iβm quite glad to be out of the politics of it all tbh. It was good to see her but I felt like Iβd done a days work.
We are booked in for a meal at Tom Kerridges restaurant in big city near me next week, Iβm undecided whether or not to go or cancel. Weβd booked previously but cancelled after ds accident then they cancelled us cos of COVID. I think Iβm going to go for it even if we get a taxi to drop us off and pick us up outside. I bought vouchers for dd and ds last Christmas but itβll be my birthday weekend so I really want to go. I am eating ok so should be fine.Iβm going around to ds tomorrow and will have tea there - I might decide after Iβve been out. But a week could make a difference and itβs something to look forward to πJanuary spends - Β£587.583 -

Iβve actually got dressed for the 1st time since the beginning of September - Iβd forgotten what hard work it is. Iβve put some cargo pants and a loose t shirt on. The waistband goes right across the stoma so Iβve had to pull them right up.....could be interesting sourcing clothes that suit π³ Shattered now. Waiting for the nurse to come. Theyβre talking about some sort of specialist dressing with a pump to draw the moisture out.....they are very clever.....but I suspect thatβll be tomorrow if they go down that route.....Iβll be forever grateful to the doctors and nurses.
Iβm heading over to ds house later - Iβll only be sitting as I would at home - but nice to see different walls π Itβs about a 15 minute drive.Β

Just got home - literally walked from my door to the car, travelled in car 15 minutes - got out of the car and walked into his house. Sat down was waited on hand and foot. Did the journey in reverse .......Iβm absolutely shattered and off to bed....night night π₯±π΄January spends - Β£587.584
