I've only ever found one thing that works well for thrush & that is the single oral capsule fluconazole. Doctors have tried fobbing me off will allsorts, but we always come back to that.

That’s the one the nurse recommended today bm. Dh went to the chemist but they wouldn’t give it without a prescription- I’ve phoned the GP but not heard anything back yet - too late for my designated chemist now so it’ll have to be tomorrow....I’m going to chase them up in the morning as it’s driving me crazy and really sore 😱
dh is going to see his sister later as her 14 day quarantine is over.....just a matter of waiting for the funeral now so we can say our goodbyes.....we’re living in very strange times 😢January spends - £587.582

So dd is hoping her car will be sorted and will definitely be coming home at weekend. We’ve cancelled the meal as in all honesty I’m not up to it.....think I’ve been in denial with a bit of wishful thinking thrown in for good measure. We will book again in a couple of weeks and hopefully get in before the voucher runs out at Christmas.Lol - next problem is move all the boxes we have piled into the room the kids use - I was getting ahead of myself emptying the kitchen cupboards for the builders and everything is stacked in there. I can’t even help - dh will end up doing it all 😳😳 it will be lovely to see the gks though. So we will pile it all in our room leaving a walkway for the nurses to get to and from the bed😊 oh how I’d love a house big enough to accommodate us all when they stay without having to rearrange the whole house.
I’ve felt slightly better today and knitted half a sleeve of a baby cardigan....I couldn’t concentrate much on things but this is a step in the right direction 👍January spends - £587.582

If you are under 60 you should be able to buy it over the counter.

BM I’m 62 on Monday so I’m presuming that’s why I’ve been directed to the GP......chemist asked my age. Which is good but frustrating........January spends - £587.581

I don’t believe it......we are waiting to hear about a local lockdown 😡😡 I’m hope it won’t happen until Monday. I’ll be gutted if we don’t get to see the gks this weekend annndddd we’ve cancelled the meal. I know we have to be vigilant about the virus but I’m so cheesed off with it all 😢January spends - £587.581

Last time I took this I was 74, bought over the counter but not by me. That 60 age is just a number with it seems little justification (I think it may be a sign of diabetes actually). If I waited for my doctor to prescribe something that was actually going to work I would be in the same state as you are.milann said:BM I’m 62 on Monday so I’m presuming that’s why I’ve been directed to the GP......chemist asked my age.
