Hope you enjoyed your evening. How lovely to be waited on hand and foot 😁 Sleep well xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I slept like a log last night. Who’d have thought going to a different house would be so tiring.
The nurse has been this morning and is getting in touch with GP as non of the thrush meds are having any effect- hopefully they can sort something different out for me as it’s driving me insane 😱😱 it looks as if my wound is beginning to heal slowly and isn’t weeping as much - so fingers crossed 🤞
Typical - just as the nurse came - so did the window cleaner - shut the curtains just in time.
mmmmmm.....I’ve got a dilemma. I’m booked for a meal at Tom Kerridges on Saturday and dd has decided she might come home in case there’s a lockdown and she can’t come for a long time......There’s no way the gks will go for a meal at 7 pm as they always go to bed early and they’d be 7 of us - which can’t be done. I don’t want to cancel but it won’t feel right going out when dd has come a long way to see me.....January spends - £587.583 -

What a blooming dilemma. Presume DD and the GKs are staying over? Would they be happy to sit in your house while you go for the meal? Then you catch up with them on Sunday? I wouldn’t know what to do to be honest. I’ve just got this horrible feeling we’re going to be banned from socialising this week 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It’d solve all my problems if they put a local lockdown in place......but I do want to see dd and the gks.......but would prefer to be a bit better so the kids don’t worry if they see me moving like a 90 year old.January spends - £587.583

The nurse has been - she has changed and packed the dressing. She’s been in touch without my GP to see if there’s anything else for the thrush that’s still driving me mad......nothing seems to be working 😱
I think it’s going to be a long day - I’ve got no energy to do anything and I’m fed up of the tv.....I keep reading the same line of my book over and over - I can’t seem to focus. Right enough of this feeling sorry for myself.....think I’ll put some cds on 😀......positive attitude needed here 👍January spends - £587.583 -
I hope you find something to amuse yourself , no knitting on the go , jigsaw perhaps ? Wish I could visit , even in the garden .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

If I can't concentrate to read I play a game like Free Cell, Bubble Pop or Solitaire on my iPad. Mr SA suffers with thrush a lot, has done ever since he had the stem cell transplant, might be your immune system playing up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I’ve been playing words with friends and bubble pop. Dh sorted audible out for me so I’ve just listened to a cast on that. I’d rather listen to the radio though....how ungrateful do I sound 😳 I have knitting at the side of me, but my get up and go has got up and gone. I’ll get back into doing things when I’ve got a bit more energy. I’m not the best patient 😂😂 too eager to want to do things that my body isn’t up to 🤪🤞I’ll get there again...... it’s still early days.
I know Sunshine - it’d be lovely to see you. The door is always open - when Bojo allows 🙄The postman came this morning- thank you.January spends - £587.583 -
Probably your body is telling you to rest, try having a short nap, maybe going out for a meal isnt a good idea if you are feeling tired, I hope your mojo returns soon xxmilann said:I’ve been playing words with friends and bubble pop.
