Mmmmm - beware......I’ve just had a text asking me to follow a link to my bank - the Hal....
to confirm a payment from my account. It didn’t feel right....but looked very convincing. I haven’t used any of my bank cards since before I went in hospital and they are all put away safely - I know exactly where they were.Anyway I checked my account on line and everything looked in order so I contacted the bank through the number on line. It was as I thought - a scam to get my bank details. So the bank have taken the details and are following it up. It looked so convincing- I wonder how many folk follow the link. Be vigilant everyone 😡😡😡January spends - £587.582 -

I hope your wound heals up soon. Do you feel sad about possibly not going back to school or do you feel ready to stop? It is a very tiring job.
Good for you for not falling for the scam 👍.

If you ever get anything like this again forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk they are looking into these scams. I’ve had quite a few just lately supposedly from Amazon, PayPal and Apple. Never click on a link in an email supposedly from anything financial related. Where I work they test us every so often with a bogus email, if you click on the link it tells you you’ve been phished and you have to do the training again. Makes you super aware of it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Thanks for the link SA.
The nurses were here at 9.30 this morning so we made it to the funeral in plenty of time. I was quite surprised that standing for a few minutes brought the tremor back in my leg that I used to get after the spinal bleed. They did say it could return if I was tired or rundown....so I sat down. There were about 12 people in the crem. - some staff from the home were there. Then myself and dh, his wife, daughter and son-in-law went for a meal in his honour. I was very impressed - we’d expected to sit at different tables but they offered us a cubicle with a great big table and we sat in our 2 bubbles at opposite ends - but we could still talk and we’re easily 6 foot apart. I thought that was a very sensible solution. I was very tired but feel almost too tired to go to bed.I need a lazy day tomorrow to recoup....but I’m pleased I went.....it was actually quite a nice day.
I ended up getting a 2nd tablet from the GP for the thrush and I think I can report it’s finally beginning to clear. GP said to get back if it doesn’t clear and she’ll put me on a 6 month programme as I’ve had a very severe infection......and I haven’t been seen by a doctor😳January spends - £587.582 -
I'm glad you were able to go to the funeral and have a meal in his honour. I hope the thrush is finally on the mend. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hairy at the moment I’ve no desire to go back....but that could easily change once I begin to feel better. I can happily amuse myself at home but would miss most of the people I work with. But in normal times that can be easily sorted by meeting up.I think I was overtired last night as I couldn’t get comfortable and tossed and turned. The nurse came early again - about half 9. I lay on the bed watching a bit of catch up tv afterwards. Lazy day planned.January spends - £587.581
