If you’ve got Amazon Prime, I’ve heard Outlander is really good. Have watched a trailer which looks really good and have added it to my watch list.

I like the concept of someone going back in time beanie. Two of my favourite films are The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan and Somewhere in Time, both based on someone going back in time.

Unfortunately I don’t have Amazon. If I go to my ds we watch films at house. But I don’t go often enough to watch a series.

Maybe you could get Amazon Prime just for a couple of months.

  • I am looking for a new Netflix series to watch so if you can recommend any let me know. I am a great believer in listening to your body so if you need to rest I would . You are probably not good at keeping still as you are always busy going places and doing things.
I hope the nurses come this afternoon so you can have a morning in bed again.

Nurses have been - it can be any time between 8 am and 6 pm although it’s usually between half 9 and half 11. Just a couple at about 3 pm.
I’m finding it frustrating as the builder is due to come on Tuesday and I can’t do much to help sort things out for his arrival.....and I’m not sure where we’re going to put things either 😱😱 I’ll be pleased when it’s finished.

Lurker, delurking.  Outlander is excellent!!!  Sadly not got Prime anymore but have read the books.  Also Ds could give you his password so you wouldn't need to buy the subscription

    Good idea Lucille 👍
I haven’t got much choice atm....I just keep nodding off so I am resting. I’m moving a bit better around the house and been out for a couple of short journeys with dh but I still feel every bump in the road. Think it’ll take me a while to get back to where I was. Another week will take me to the magic 6 weeks, which always seems to enhance any recovery 😀

    Happy belated birthday wishes milann!🎂🎂🎂
I've just caught up with your diary milann after a month. I'm so, so sorry that you've been so ill but very pleased to read that you are on the mend - both op and thrush wise. Your hubby sounds a real⭐️ In looking after you and I'm so glad you got to see DD and the GKs before your area's lockdown commenced.
You sound like you've been sensible with taking it easy - early retirement sounds good though I know you'll miss all your children badly.
Good luck with the forthcoming building work!
P.S re tv programmes - just been watching a new Netflix series called Emily in Paris which is very The Devil Wears Prada - made by the Sex and the City people. Easy escapism, great clothes and shots of Paris!  I love foreign dramas so if you don't mind subtitles try downloading the All4 app as there are some great international dramas in the Walter Presents series - The Lawyer is a really pacey exciting series, also I enjoyed Moscow Noir. And for some twisty family murder type sagas try Beyond Appearances and a Deadly Union.  X
