Another NSD - this not being able to get out and about is saving me a packet ๐
I had my cc bill this morning and couldnโt believe it is only ยฃ11.87 ๐ฑ๐๐๐ That is the total Iโve spent on it for a month ๐๐ - I pay everything with my cc and pay it in full each month.
There will be ยฃ33 on next months bill for gdds birthday presents the other day. I have used cash out of my bank to pay for the builder.....so dh and myself have worked it out together - a bit of a turn around this month ๐
The wall is now down between the dining room and kitchen- it looks very different. Once we know the measurements we can look at kitchens properly ๐๐ Iโm getting a bit giddy. Weโre undecided whether or not to use some of the old units and just get new doors.....
I'm not sure what theyโll do next - maybe take the old door to outside from the kitchen which will be replaced partly with a wall - partly a window.....or build the new wall thatโll separate the loo from the kitchen.
im still waiting for the nurses to come today - theyโre usually earlier than this.ยJanuary spends - ยฃ587.583 -

The nurse finally came and was pleased with the results. She said if it stays the same tomorrow she will recommend alternate days to aid the healing.
After she went we drove to our local B&Q to look at radiators for the dining area of the kitchen. It needs to be a narrow tall one as the old one had to go as there is no longer a wall to attach it to. We didnโt look at much else - a very quick walk through the kitchens - typically the one that caught my eye was the most expensive. I was shattered and the tremor in my leg started again so we came home. After a bit of research Dh found a better radiator in Screwfix.......more output and cheaper. But thereโs a 6 day delivery on it......it is what it is. ๐

Isn't it the case that when we have a choice, the things we like the best turn out to be the most expensive!๐. ย Glad you are happy with the 'space' though. And good news on the nurse's report!๐Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 ๐

I waited for the nurse until 3 today. I quite fancied a ride out in the sunshine. Iโd have happily sat in the car as dh went for a wonder....Iโm not up to walking more than a few minutes yet.....but I will be.
We went around to ds for tea - ds and dh sorted it and it was good to sit somewhere different. Iโve really missed my friends and family - theyโve picked me up for a coffee or a ride to their homes when Iโve been recovering in the past. It just breaks things up.....but this time is totally different- it is what it is......got to believe weโll be able to do that again some day. Not looking forward to tomorrowโs restrictions.

The nurse came and was pleased with the healing so Iโm now on visits on alternate days ๐๐ and it feels right this time.
The electrician came out and put the first fitting of wires on the ceiling and a wooden frame for the false ceiling.
I was looking through the bedroom window today and a neighbour saw me and phoned to see if I was ok. We had a chat and later she sent me Costco cakes over. So much for healthy eating and only having cake at weekend.
We had no light in the kitchen this evening so ended up getting a burger and chips takeaway. It was lovely- although I only managed to eat half.We really should have bought one between us.
I had a lovely surprise call from a MSE friend and then from a friend at work later.
My tummy ย has felt a bit strange today - itโs perfectly normal - I remember it from last time. Some days it works harder than others and although not painful is a tad uncomfortable. I can feel it working and rumbling and grumbling a lot.
Another NSD.
I was surprised by the new regs. Weโre in the high tier - I expected the very high tier.ยI had my new sick note sent to me in a text - another month. In theory I should be able to forward it to work - but for some reason itโs not sending....๐ก technology ๐ก๐ก๐ก๐ก๐ก
