Now you know I love Windermere, but it gets like Blackpool sea front in August . I can’t wait to be back in a week or so . Where you ended up is good for a walk . Morrison’s is nice and handy as well . Glad you enjoyed your ride out .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Sounds like a lovely day out yesterday. It's great to do something spontaneous and have such an enjoyable time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I love spontaneous- things tend to go astray when plans are made.....like today 😔
At relatives house yesterday and we decided to head to a restaurant for the last £10 off day. We phoned some places and couldn’t get in but found a space in a town an hour or so away for 3.30. We decided to go for it, visit the town which has a big port and riverside walks. I’ve been up all night with stomach cramps....couldn’t face any food this morning but am drinking ok. I’m pretty sure it’s linked to the troubles I had several years ago and not a bug as I don’t feel poorly and I had a couple of problems earlier in the week.So relative arrived ready to go and have breakfast at our house. I’ve made them go on their own - very reluctantly.....no point ruining everyone’s day. I can do without them looking at me worried too. So a lazy day planned in a bid to be ok for work tomorrow......I really don’t want to be off on the first day back 😳January spends - £587.581 -

Thanks for the get well wishes. I’m still in hospital and had to have a repeat major surgery I had 14 years ago. I knew things weren’t right.....so I won’t be going back to work for a long time. It’s been a tough old time but I’ve turned a corner I didn’t think I would reach and am back on the road to recovery. It’s hard not being allowed visitors and no tv. Makes for a long day. It’s missing the family that is the worse though.I’m just beginning to walk around the ward but it’s onwards and upwards now.January spends - £587.582
