My bil passed away today. He has been in a home for a long time with Parkinson’s but COVID has been his demise. I don’t know how I feel - a mixed blessing. I do feel for my sil though as she has to isolate for 14 days as she went in to see him just before he died they called her to say her goodbyes before they knew he had COVID.
How can you mourne your hubby of 50? years without seeing her daughter and brother.
im not her biggest fan but wouldn’t wish this on her.
i feel for my dh too as I know he is worried about me and now his sister.
i need to get home from this hospital bed.January spends - £587.582 -

Sorry to hear about your BIL, even though he'd been ill for a long time it's still sad when someone passes away.
So pleased to hear you're back home x

Not much to report. I feel totally washed out but am getting used to the new me - and all it entails. Dh is being his usual amazing self in looking after me. He’s made soup which I keep having small amounts of - along side picky side plates of bits of stuff. Chicken, cheeses & bits of cucumber etc. I still can’t face a full meal. I’ve lost just short of a stone - since 1st September..... I know I wanted to loose weight - just shows we should be careful what we wish for. I’ll get there again as I was much worse than this in 2006 when the same thing happened to me. This time I haven’t had as many complications.January spends - £587.581
