I’m so glad I didn’t save my garden day for today. It’s awful out there. Tidy up day inside today then and tomorrow will be a ME day - my last day on my own before I head back to work. Dh will be off from Thursday....which is lovely but I like my time on my own too 😀 Right no procrastinating on here I’m off for an appointment with a tin of polish and the hoover 👍

I’ve done  all the tidying, washing and changed the bed and was going to go for a walk but it has persisted down virtually all day. Not the most inviting weather. Feeling fed up with myself and these partial lockdowns- can’t even nip around to see my friend. I don’t know how people who’ve had to isolate and live alone have gone on.....a bit of normality would be lovely right now. I succumbed to the chocolate box and lost count of the amount I ate. Line drawn - put positive pants back on and tomorrow is a new day.....
The light came back on in my car so dh has taken it to the garage today. Hopefully it’s not too expensive......need all my pennies for the kitchen work. 👍

That's why the FB has been keeping me sane in part.
    Normality would be great.
It has chucked it down here all day.
    Flood warnings.

Take care if there’s flood warnings Beanie. I’ve got images of that large mass of water near to you overflowing.....does it ever flood?
It’s good that you have the fb Beanie....it’s a routine and you get to see people - sad that we need such places though. Are you in a bubble with anyone or is it different near you. We’re in a bubble with my relative who lives alone so we get to see him.
Car is going to be £150 plus labour 🙄 needs to go back again tomorrow as they couldn’t get the part today.....

I forgot though you can still meet friends Beanie - it’s just because we’re on a partial lockdown that we can’t 😡😡  the annoying thing is you keep seeing things on tv where folk are totally disregarding it.....at this rate it’ll last forever. I can’t even go to my brothers as he is in a stricter lockdown than here and it’s only about 8 miles away.....

Hopefully the cafe will open soon Beanie....and you can visit again 😀
Well I had a lazy morning reading my book in bed listening to the rain. I came down and have been pootling around on here reading diaries - it’s a bit like people watching - quite intriguing to read how people are coping/managing the cards life throws......
I’d hoped to get outside again but it’s been torrential rain all morning.....weather didn’t forecast that.
Anyway it looks as if it has stopped so I’m going for a walk to the chemist to pick up a prescription and try to find a plant swap I’ve heard about locally. You watch I’ll get out and it’ll start raining again.....better have a bite to eat first though.....I had tummy ache last night - probably due to all the rubbish I ate yesterday, so I’ve just had marmite and toast so far today. I haven’t had stomach trouble for years due to a daily regime I have to adhere to since I had surgery which saved my life but means things don’t work quite the way they should. I’ll keep my eye on it and hope it’s just a 1 off.
