  • I'm glad you've finally got the technolog sorted Milann :). We have a rota at my school and all staff seem to be working one week out of every three. I'm doing lunchtimes next week, some staff are doing one full day every three weeks. I'm in a WhatsAp group for MTAs and one for teachers/TAs and my phone hasn't stopped pinging all day, it's starting to drive me potty now 😱🤣.

Your walk sounds lovely, can I come? At a safe distance of course 🤣

Well another nightmare day with technology- typed a long e mail to work, tried to send it.....came up with another security alert and blocked me again.😡😡 I’m mightily fed up with it. Dh spent ages sorting it for me.....will see what happens tomorrow 😳
Dh got through to the washing machine folk - guess what.......our machine isn’t affected - it’s actually laughable if it wasn’t so annoying. Anyway we took photos of the condemned - do not use stickers - we had an email back saying they’ll be in touch. Watch this space.....I’ve got visions of them not being able to deliver a new one with the restrictions😱
At least we are safe and well so shouldn’t complain. Although dh has been a tad chesty - but he’d been painting at work and the fumes always get his chest - no temp or feeling poorly - just rattling like an old steam train. I’ve doused him in Olbas Oil and he sounds much better.
I had a lovely surprise parcel too- thankyou my special friend for thinking of me 😇
I spent an hour doing an acrostic poem and reading stories with eldest gdd today - her mum was trying to do some work...the little one listened to the stories too.....very strange times. I hate not knowing when we’ll meet again 😢 Ds did a maths session and other grandma a science one other days. It’s just something to keep them busy and connected during these times.
    Stay safe everyone ❤️❤️

Sorry you've had a frustrating day Milan. You're definitely putting me off buying another H0tp0int as they seem to be being utterly useless 😡.

I'm glad you had a surprise parcel and did activities with GDD :). Were you doing it over Skype?

I can’t believe the washer saga 😩 Hotpoint used to be really reliable years ago. Parcel sounds lovely, how nice. We had a lot of teething troubles when we first started working from home en masse but our IT guys worked overnight to sort it out, everything running fine now.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

School IT is always awful, they never have a clue what they're doing and can often only afford to use ancient technology which doesn't help. Based on my school anyway 😱🤣.

Afraid it’s my laptop that is ancient and I haven’t used my t’internet account for a long, long time and probably operator error thrown into the mix too. I could read the text but couldn’t reply to any - which we need to do to show we’ve been working...... The teachers have school laptops but we have to use our own technology.

You have given me an idea Milann, I could read a bedtime story to the DGC over FaceTime . Glad the IT is hopefully sorted, we need it more than ever now. The washing machine saga is a nightmare, I hope it sorts itself soon. I look forward to being able to meet up again.  Stay safe
