As you say milann, it is what it is and all we can do is stay family and friends orientated for one another and give thanks to those still carrying out essential jobs for us all.

I was sorry to read about your local shopping centre. Our little high street is very busy and popular, but it is made up of mostly small independent businesses. I do hope this is not the death knell for them.....😞

Well done on the weight loss :) Our WW group did a virtual class yesterday - I was drinking coffee and eating a Twirl during the talk, I hid the Twirl and kept moving away from the screen to snaffle it, then I realised I didn't have the camera on so they wouldn't have known anyway :D

Your diary moves very fast! I've not been around for a couple of weeks so I've just caught up with all your news. Hope your hip is bearing up and your new washer turns up soon.

Strange times for all of us nowadays, but as you say, it is what it is.

Not been around for a few days as I had to enter my log in details for some reason and I couldn’t remember my new password  - kept putting the old one in. Then it came to me when I wasn’t thinking about it.
Technology is not my friend - we have work e-mails which I’ve used twice in a couple of years at work for training purposes, I’ve never used it at home. I tried the other day and couldn’t load it....it’s taken me until today with dh help. I’ve been getting quite stressed about it as I have to show I’ve read some policies etc. We are supposed to be available should the staff in work need any resources making. And we need to make resources for the children we work with for when we go back. Luckily the team have a watts app group so I’ve been touching base and they know I’ve been doing resources the old school Blue Peter way with paper, glue and sticky back plastic 😂😂 We need to show we’ve done some work at home I suppose.
There is still no news re my washing machine - hope it’s not going to be months. I’ve asked dh to ring tomorrow - whether they’ll be anyone there or not is another matter.
We’ve been for a couple of nice walks in the grounds of an old house which is now parkland and swampy areas for birds. It’s only small and about a 15 minute walk away - I used to go a few times a day when we had the dog but I’ve not been for a long time until yesterday. I saw a Heron, 2 beautiful butterflies and a masshoosive bumble bee.
im going to see ds tomorrow and taking him some bits - in my eyes he is vulnerable. I haven’t seen anyone else neither has he.
Off to do some catching up.
    January spends - £587.58
