milann said:My dad use to tease me with his Beanie 😂😂😂😂 I’d forgotten about it and you’ve just jogged my memory. Thank you 👍 Thinking of my dad - it’s his anniversary this week - 19th and I can’t remember how long - it’s around 30 years......how bad is that, that I can’t remember - seems like yesterday and a 100 years rolled into one. I think of him most day but I’ll remember him especially tomorrow on St Patrick’s day - he always took it as a holiday from work to ‘wet the shamrock’ with a whisky or two - but never got drunk. Not much to report. I popped into Mr M and managed to get some mince....from the butcher counter which was a tad more expensive but very nice quality...made a lovely spag Bol 😋The pre packed shelves were completely empty....as was half of the shop again. It feels like the clam before the storm - school feels ‘normal’ but there was a noticeable ‘ ‘calm before the storm’ feeling in the shop.
SW has been stopped until further notice. I think there’s going to a Facebook support network.

It is so unsettling & I hardly slept last night. Social distancing is not helping.

So today we had several meetings and updates at work - the top and bottom of it I need to work from home according to the Local Education Authority. So I’m available to make resources at home should the teaching staff require my services. Then this evening was the announcement of the school closures......uncertain times indeed.
I went around to see ds on my way home and called to buy a couple of things we needed - we couldn’t. We stayed and had tea at his house,

Doing much better Beanie but still a way to go. Thanks for asking.
I feel quite settled in my world for now - now I know I’m off work. I was getting a bit concerned at work as everyone else was being told to avoid crowds and we were constantly in a crowd, in a stuffy and warm classroom, working with children who are very tactile, snotty, some are dribbly - but all are gorgeous (most of the time) - however, they don’t understand the new rules of no physical contact. We pick up most of the bugs and colds they have - they are very good at sharing. I’m much happier now I’m out of that environment. It’ll be what it’ll be.....I’ve got some food and cleaning stuff in. There might be some odd combinations but we can eat for a while, I’m in reasonable health so hopefully should I get the dreaded virus it’ll be mild and I’ll have built up some immunity towards it in the future. I coped in 2006 when I was really ill in intensive care and in debt up to my eyeballs.....so the odds are good that whatever this next phase is I’ll get through it again 👍😀👍😀👍😀 and the big bonus is - I have no debts this time 👏👏👏👏👏
