Hope you're not starting with hip problems to replace the arm :(

Other than that I'm impressed with how much you've achieved :j

I did indeed have a lazy day and another one today - so that’s another 2 NSDs as I’ve not left the house. I’ve also paid my cc - had a complete block and totally forgot to pay it in full last time - can only put it down to birthday celebrations and being distracted  - I had the cash there - good job I have a direct debit for the minimum amount -I mustn’t let that happen again as I was charged £20 interest....so I’ve paid in full as soon as the statement was ready rather than waiting for payday. I never used to be able to pay until payday and I’ve still got some cash left. It made me realise how far I’ve come - a few years ago payday cleared my overdraft and I was paying minimum payments on my cards then using my overdraft until next payday - a spiral which I’m pleased to have escaped :D:money: Anyway I’ve set up a reminder on my phone to stop that happening again :o

So over the last couple of days I’ve painted some fairies and a small building for the garden railway. I’ve quite enjoyed myself then watched some catch up tv with Mr M ;)

I’m at physio tomorrow - hopefully there won’t be any floods at the hospital as there was last time:eek:I’ve developed an annoying click in my elbow when I twist my arm so I’ll mention it tomorrow and ask her what she thinks about returning to work after half term.

I don’t know where time is going. I’ve well and truly got into being off work and am managing to fill my time easily. Saying that I do enjoy being at work too.

Just got back from physio. She has said another month off after this sick note finishes - to get in touch with my GP surgery and if there’s any problems to message her and she’ll get a sick note from the consultant and post it to me. She took various measurements and my arm is slightly straighter than last time. She measured the strength of my squeeze - near my body and with an outstretched arm. I scored 1 with my bad arm and 18 with my good arm. Says I can’t go back to work until it’s at least half the measurement of my good arm.....work won’t be happy- I can’t face telling them yet I’ll wait until I’ve got the sick not in my hand:o
Feeling a bit gutted about the stabbings today in Manchester - scary and very close to home. I often visit there
We contemplated going out after the hospital but weather looked a tad iffy so we came home instead.
I lost a pound this morning at SW - didn’t make up for the 2 I put on the week before but in the right direction :)

Yes, the stabbings in Manchester are scary.
What a world we live in :(

If you are off another month will you still get full pay?

Very scary re Manchester stabbings, makes you fearful to go out, when will it all end :(

Don't worry about work if you need more time off, you are more important xx

Great news on losing 1lb - heading in the right direction :)

I’m not sure when I’ll go down to half pay but it must be very soon  Burying my head in the sand and and hoping we hear from the inheritance we’re hoping to get soon. It’s 3 years on Monday since she passed away  it’d make life so much easier for us. I have to admit I was quite shocked when physio insisted on another month and even more shocked when I saw the readings of the strength of my arm. I think I’m so used to compensating with my left arm now I do things automatically that way.
I’ve had a couple of more NSDs that’s 5 this week :money: so I’ve smashed my target :D
A friend popped around this afternoon totally unexpectedly so I’ve spent the afternoon supping wine :o and putting the world to rights-twas very nice too :T I’ll admit to feeling nicely merry so it’s cups of tea for the rest of the evening :o
Dd I’d 38 tomorrow- how did THAT happen

  • Sounds like a good afternoon to me. You need to get your arm right before you go back to work properly.

Hope DD has a good birthday , you will see her soon if I remember rightly.
