Don't go back to work until you feel absolutely ready milann.

Going back to the doctor surgery business - I haven't seen the doctor I'm actually registered with for a couple of years now - it's always been different doctors - passing through as you say. I seem to see the nurses more than doctors as they now have the job of taking the bloods and checking BP among other tasks.

    Well done on the hats!:)

I’m not going to go back to work until I can function properly. The children I work with can be very exuberant and the last thing I want is one of them pulling me hard to show me something that they want me to see. So far work have been fine. I’m beginning to do more but no where near what I should be able to do. The furthest I’ve been on my own is the doctors:eek:
I’ve had a lovely hour in the garden this afternoon- my sort of weather not too hot - just very warm and pleasant. I’ve pottered doing nothing much. I’ve deheaded a few flowers and that’s about it. But I feel inspired with it again.
    NSD today.
Not sure which way SW will go tomorrow- I’ve had a good week apart from my day out with my friend where more wine than I’ve drank all month was consumed:eek: but twas rather nice :p:D
I’m being picked up at 9.30 for the wedding on Monday - not sure what to expect. It’s at 11 a.m. and I think it’s just a meal afterwards. I’ve put my invite in a very safe place - too safe to ever see again!

Hope you get out in the garden again today - weatherwise here it's been raining and still feels like there's some more to come.

Good luck with SW today - you've had one, ahem, overindulged day, but at least you've been good the rest of the week so hopefully you'll have a result!

  • I'm glad you managed to find a dress you liked and that you have such a clever friend to alter it :). It would have been a shame for you to miss the wedding. I'm sure once you can walk more confidently on your own and swim the weight will soon come off.

Well I must have done something right - 2lb off :j:j
Went to physio and then on to seaside town for a lovely walk along the sea front and dinner at our fave cafe - I chose wisely though :A. I’ve never been to this coast so many times in a year - we go every time I’m at the hospital. New exercises to do - my arm is aching now though.
The lady on the WRVS stall was overjoyed with the hats I’d taken - anyone would have thought I’d taken a bar of gold. I think I made her day and her appreciation made mine :rotfl:

I was quite pleased we were out as we missed the power cut that seemed to affect a lot of the country. I didn’t see any sign of it where we were.

  • Glad the hats were welcomed with enthusiasm. It's good to get sea air in your lungs Milann. No power cut here , though we did spend most of the day further up North .

Well done on the weight loss. Have a good weekend.
