Morning all,
Oh my word i have just seen the biggest spider EVER!(it even had its nose pierced and tatooes)
Just called the resident spider catcher/eater (dog) who has spooked aforementioned 8 legged horrid black thing. I didn’t hear the usual crunch of spider bones so its still out there! Worse thing is its right near the computer im sat at! Next time im calling the cat. He is the king of spider removal!
CATZINE~ AWWWW how cute is she?? Forgotten about nasty spider now.
MRS-MIX~ hope you get the neighbour problem sorted. Try and not worry. Sending you a hug x
CHARLIES-MUM~ hope the car passes its MOT .
FROGGA~ glad OH has got some work. My OH quit and then also found work within 4 hours. Must be a male thing. Enjoy the picnic.
DLB~sorry to hear about the family strife. Im in a similar situation except i do speak to Mum just haven’t spoken to my Big brother for 5 years.
JOHANNASMUM~ don’t suppose you know if the firework championship is on this year? They usually have it in sept some time, but with the fair closing i was curious if they were still holding it this year.
MRSMCAWBER~ i forgot to post the other day when you were telling us about the by-laws about washing on Sundays etc. OH was based in Munster when he was in the army,i asked him about these laws and god he got excited telling me all about his time there.:rotfl:
Where abouts are you in Germany?
hugs coming your way if needed.
am off to make a cuppa

Morning everyone!
Have a lovely day Amie
Catznine Penny is gorgeous! I really like the character of poodles, and she looks like has got the best characteristics of both breeds
N9eav Barf indeed. I know that's just your manly way of saying what a sweetie Penny is. Congratulations on getting relocated by the way!
MrsMix I think I would have written to the council saying it had come to your attention that your name was being used on his letters without your knowledge or consent. The rubbish thing is depressing. My neighbour's driveway is next to mine, and her carp (from her bin and recycling boxes) is always getting blown into my front garden. One week I had nearly a third of a wheely bin of her stuff. Her kids just drop their litter in the street - outside her house!
Frogga Gosh, how big are your trees if they are on the other side of the garden to the neighbours but still casting a shadow on their garden? Maybe a fair compromise would be to get them professionally reduced, and perhaps your neighbour can pay half? You'll probably find it gives the trees a new lease of life too. Congratulations on your OHs new job btw.
Chalky good luck with the buffet prep.
<Catowen>
And a <hug> to you too if you would like one of need one.
Just finished my porridge, and I'll be off to the gym shortly. Need to do a quick swish and swipe downstairs, haven't decided what else to do yet.
Had to go shopping for a dinner suit for DH yesterday, we lent his old one to DSS2, and never got it back. It also is extrmeley unlikely to fit anymore. I was in the changing room in M&S Camberley with him, and I really wanted to laugh. All the men in there had brought their wives, and were coming out of the changing room to get approval or otherwise from the wife. It reminded me of taking children shopping, you can't trust them to know what to buy. Still, we managed to get one that fitted well and looks smart. He also bought some much needed new jeans while he was in there..nothing OS about it I'm afraid.
Oh, i'm going to make lemon curd today. I meant to make it yesterday but didn't. DH decided he would make the bolognese, and he takes hours to do the prep, so I couldn't be bothered to fight for kitchen space.

Morning all
You can tell hubby's out for the day as I'm on here before lunch time.
Well done Frogga's OH, Hugs to Smokybabe & her OH, Well done Taplady, Hugs to mrsmix, belated Happy birthday to mrsflittersnoop.
I'm off to the P.O. later as I have 15 items sold on ebay that have to go off today.
My lodger has announced she is arriving on Saturday at Gatwick at 8:45 & she wants to buy clothes when she arrives! I explained that I need to collect her from the Station by 3pm as we are going away that evening. We actually don't need to leave till 5pm, but years of experience of lodgers/teachers/shoppers has made me very cautious.
DD went for a scan yesterday afternoon all seems to be progressing normally & the baby is most likely a girl.
I must start getting ready to go to the PO.
Hope everyone has a good day,
Hugs Hester

Amie399 - Glad that you managed to catch the hedgehog, hope that it survives. Have a lovely time in Brighton too, I love Brighton. DH proposed there!
Catznine - Your dog is gorgeous
MrsFlittersnoop - Happy birthday for yesterday, glad you had a lovely day
Frogga - Great news about dh's job, at least this way he will start to get hgv experience. I nearly bought a house in Rendlesham I think, it was a house that used to be American military housing.
Good morning all,
Another early morning here, i'm so tired! DD was awake at 6am, i'd normally leave her for a while but I don't want her to wake my Dad, doesn't work as she's managed to wake him the last couple of days! We're off to a friends for a playdate this morning, i've stuck her in bed for a nap but she seems to be demolishing her room at the moment so i'll go and get her in a moment.
My Dad is doing ok, think that its sinking in that its going to be a longish process but he's in good spirits so not much to worry about really. Have emptied the dishwasher and had a little tidy around but haven't done much else, too tired!
My main dilema at the moment is what to call our unborn baby, favourites are George for a boy and Hannah for a girl, not so sure about Hannah though, I was really keen on Beatrice but i've gone off it now, think that its the royal connection.
Not sure whats for dinner tonight, maybe macaroni cheese
Have a good day all0 -
Hi Ali
Choosing names can be a nightmare, my DD's husband want's Lazarus if it's a boy & Dolores if it's a girl, but we'll wait & see. My MIL forbade me from calling my daughter Cassandra as she said it was a stupid name, but I called her it anyway.

Ouch - just booked flights and projected forward bills etc until after we come back from holiday/family duty. Ouch. The time includes my cars MOT/tax etc.
Looks horrible when you put it on paper, and I didn't include grocery spending up to then. Somehow don't think a month of carboots will help!

Goodmorning everybody, well it's night time here but who's quibbling
Had a busy day here sorting out my clothes. While being packed away they must have shrunk. It was like Xmas, they've been packed away nearly 2 years now. I have no idea why I kept some of them.
I was ruthless this time & I have quite a few bags for charity. I got 8 bars from my soap. Smells good. It has to cure for a week now.
Catz She looks adorable. I LOVE dogs. Very much the same colouring as my little Daisy.
Mrs Flittersnoop Happy Birthday for yesterday.
Twink Amazing you can get through 100years in one afternoon.
Must be all the oats you eat.
MrsMix Try and not worry too much. He sounds like a nut case though.
BgnRzl Missing in action I presume.
Cat, I hope you sleep better tonight. ((((hugs)))) to those that need em. Hope you all have a nice day. Weather lovely here today. First day of Spring on Saturday. :T I love Spring. ByeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all!
I'm really tired this morning, due to a couple of nightmares and then the kid downstairs is up to his usual noisy tricks so I couldn't get back to sleep!
Awwww, Catznine, Penny is gorgeous!
Amie-you're in my neck of the woods today.... be good! They are working on turning Littlewoods into a 'Primark superstore' so perhaps the next time you visit Brighton, you'll have even more Primark to look forward to!
mrs_mix and frogga... I have awful neighbours too, cannot wait to sell up and move away from the part of the town where we live now!
Hugs to those who need/want!
Mum is already out of hospital (op was Tue!) and we're off to visit her after a trip to the tip.
Postie has just been and OH has won a competition! So that's the 3rd comp we've won in a week
Gonna have a bath in a mo... my back is giving me aggro, so will have a hot bath instead of resorting to painkillers that prob won't do anything for the umpteenth time! Toast first though, am really hungry and can't just eat Nutella out of the jar, can I? Hehe.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning gang, hope everyone is having a decent day. I did post last night but stupidly lost it(I pressed something on the computer and EVERYTHING went blank:o ) Atlrincham was fab got loads of bits. Some books; Midge Ure autobiography, Readers Digest cookery year,(20p each) another couple of fiction books and Trade secrets for £1.00 really pleased as I had my eye on it in costco but felt it was too expensive. Its really good. Also got DH a brand new pair of Doc Martins shoes in a size 10 1/2(which is a really hard size to get even from "proper" shoe shop) for £4.50:j :j .
He was very lucky that I didn't "accidently" stand on his s*dding toe yesterday:rotfl: :rotfl:
The freecycle pillows were fantastic, 4 brand new feather pillows still in wrappers as the lady had received when she got her new bed and she has an allergy. Today I am making some cheese, tomato and basil muffins (from the Tesco good food club) never made them before so will report.
Wish it would rain or something it is very close and have a slight headache.
