They're quite firm like new potatoes so not sure mashing would work but they're brilliant sliced and fried.0 -
I really like Lidl's XXL offers, the last we had was Black Forest Ham and a giant roll of Black Pudding.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

I noticed Aldi are now selling an uber premium dog food which is £6.99 for 5KG. I'm not sure which brand it will be comparable to but I'm thinking Wainwrights or Arden Grange. Has anyone bought this yet?0

No because I don't believe in stuffing a whole load of inedible cereals into my dog so he's fed on a natural raw diet. But, I'll be going into Aldi later this week so will keep an eye out and try get an ingredient list for comparison.0 -
Aldi's SS raspberry conserve (similar appearance to Bonne Maman) is recommended. I have a part-used jar in the fridge left over from an August cream tea party, and tried a bit yesterday. I'm not a regular jam-eater but was surprised how nice it is! Would be great for making jam doughnuts, if that's your thing.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I don't think this has cereals in it. I avoid food with cereals hence I buy Arden Grange. How much does a raw diet cost you? He used to love Arden Grange but now keeps messing around flipping his food around so I think he is bored (and why not after a year of eating it!).0 -

It varies depending upon where I source the food but I'd say on average about £80-£100 a month. But then he's a young 45kg dog, eating approx 1.5kg of food per day and I feed good quality organic products.
In summer it's cheaper as there is an abundant supply of wild rabbit and squirrel but it winter I have to rely on buying everything in. Prices can vary from £1/kg for tripe up to £6/kg for goat/kangaroo/lamb. A good quality "complete mince" will usually cost £3-£5/kg depending what meat base it contains.0 -

I'm genuinely gobsmacked you spend that much on feeding 1 dog..0
