Yes I have contacted them and the answer is the same. The agent has made a mistake as there is no such thing as a 40% discount.0

Then it was missold. I assume you haven't followed the contact advice on here - you wouldn't have got an answer that fast and wouldn't have been dealing with a bunch of dishonest and inept advisers.0

I've been having some issues in getting Vodafone to honour a contract I was offered. The issue was around whether a discount could be applied to an already discounted package which I have been advised Vodafone policy is that this can't be done. However, after escelation the manager I spoke to said he would allow the 30% to be applied. I have the chat log to confirm this.
Since the price was going to be honoured I cancelled my contract with o2 (PAC code) and incurred early settlement fees. Before my number ported I asked Vodafone to confirm the price again and whilst they initially told me the discount couldn't be applied, before the end of the chat they confirmed the price again.
Now my number has ported and I have incurred o2 settlemement fees Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal. The member of the complaints team I spoke to was genuinely the worst person I have ever spoken to (I've requested a copy o fthe call) who pretty much told me it was my fault. I would cancel as I was within 30 days cooling off period but they would not pay the settlement fee and I was not entitled to compensation.
Surely they have to honour the contract price agreed? If not, surely they must pay the early settlement fee and offer compensation for the hassle and time this has taken - I have spend 5.5hrs in online chats with them and around 2hrs on actual calls and still no further on. Any advice?0 -

You could follow mobilejunkie's advice or you could just email Nick Jeffery directly (details in Post 1014), as it seems that this is a much faster route to getting issues resolved.I've been having some issues in getting Vodafone to honour a contract I was offered. It is not true they cant do 40%. Before my current contract i had a 45% discount and my partner had 42.5% discount. Currently i only have 30% but that was more to do with the amount i wished to pay. But they can give you up to 2 months off line rental to offset any discount they say they cant provide
Hope that helps0
