You're giving them "a lot" of generosity.

I'm an optimist, there must be some normal CS who do a decent job, they just seem very difficult to find and speak to amongst all the inefficient useless ones ;).

  • Hi I've filled in the form and have ref :WRT135[#15875052]. Could someone please look into this. Thanks.

I do believe I did encounter the odd decent one in many many hours of travails over several years... on the other hand, the (vast) majority were not merely "inefficient" or "useless"; they were trained liars, buck passers and purveyors of entirely false promises and almost invariably experts in creating new problems to add to the existing ones. Now THAT they were very PROficient at.

    To Vodafone Rep.

I have submitted the message below via the MSE Form Ref. Number [#15873209]
    Please get in touch

I'm not sure how long it takes for the Vodafone Customer Relations Team to get back but having submitted the form and receiving a reference number, I received a call from Mr. Sohail Bloch who appeared confident that I would get my complaint resolved.

If you are reading this Mr Bloch, can you please let me know how this is progressing?

    Thanks

I tried logging a call via the WRT135 method on their website but didn't receive an automated email in response. Am I doing something wrong? I'll try anything at this stage as I've totally lost hope after dealing with the Customer Relations dept in India for 7 weeks since my initial request.

I've never had such a bad experience with any company in my life time.

It's come through (ref 15887912), just took quite a while.

    I feel your pain Patrick

I have 'chatted' on line to 8 vodafone reps and by telehone to two... which adds up to many hours of my time

All have promised that I would get the NUC within 48 hours

Totally worn out by it all now

Anyone know the average cost in the unlocking shops in town?

The unlocking shops in town can't unlock iPhones, what they'll do is buy an unlock from one of the eBay unlockers who have access to the unlock server and add £10-£20 to the cost.

If you really don't want to wait, go direct and have a look for an Unlocker on eBay, I've used one called "mobilecare2010" for a number of iPhone unlocks in the past.

Vodafone should unlock it free once you've reached the end of the minimum term. Hopefully the WRT will help with that and all the issues.
