Thanks sarah, it has gone I cut it up straight away.It felt so good, ive never paid a card off before iv always BT it to another card.
I was annoyed today I needed to pay £20 into my tsb account to stop me getting charged.I picked DS up from school rushed down there paid the money in and asked if I would be charged, the cashier said I would as the cut off was 3.30, it was 3.32, grr how bad is that.0 -

The cashier said maybe they could help if I arranged to have my salary paid in there they would reverse the charge. The only reason I have that account is because they wont let me close it until my loan is paid £207 to go, for the privelage of having this account I have to pay £7 a month.I am going to try my hardest to pay that loan of next and close that account.
Why would I want to pay £7 a month to bank with them when I have free banking with Abbey.I HATE TSB
Last week I got my credit file up and guess what there was a default for a tsb credit card, I didnt default I was called in for an "account review" and they suggested it would cost less to transfer the outstanding amount to my loan which I did.I wasnt even ever late with a payment! When I contacted tsb to correct it they said it wasnt worth it as the 6 years are up this month and it wont show any more.I wonder if it has stopped me getting good rates of interest all this time.I may have debt but up to now havnt needed to miss payments or have late payments.Im so angry with them0 -

I'm no expert on credit files, but I expect the default did work against u getting better rates.....
If u can close the account down, can u at least change it to one where u don't have to pay a fee? I haven't banked with TSB but I hate them now too

hi everyone I need some support.I went on another board and posted in their thread.I did say some provocative things but nothing I felt that warranted the personal attack I got.I have been accused off all kinds of things from being anti disabled, illiterate and a liar and even having different user names.
I dont know why but it has affected me really badly, as im writing this I am crying and shaking.I felt vunerable this week to begin with.I had a horrible weekend in work, they even doubt my job as a health liason nurse exists. They have torn apart my whole life in one thread, they question my motifs for doing voluntary work.I just dont know what I did to deserve it.I even offered to give them my registration details so they could check im genuine but they didnt want to.
Why has this opened the floodgates for me.I have had so much support from this site and try to give it back when I can so do I really deserve this.I feel worth nothing and I dont think I can go to work like this, every time I think of the children I will be caring for I think I am crap at it and have never realised before.I have been scared to post here in case they come and attack me here, I dont know whether to leave mse.I really didnt think this would happen here.I cant stop crying.Im sorry, youv all been so good to me0 -
I'm so sorry to hear that people on MSE have managed to make you feel so bad. I think you're right - you know you're a decent person with a right to express your POV courteously, but when other people make really aggressive posts it can bring you right down. They're entitled to their views, but they've broken the MSE mantra about being nice to all MoneySavers 'and even if you disagree, courtesy helps.'
So they're the ones with the problem, not you. I hope you have a good night's sleep and feel better in the morning. Keep posting on the DFW board - 99% of all known DFWs have beeyootiful manners!

Hi everyone sorry about being so emotional last night it was a combination of things that mounted up and overtook me.
OH took a days holiday today, we went shopping spent over £200 but it was cash and not cards.£140 was on paint and new rug and picture for living room.We did spend £50 in borders on books but I felt I needed this today and we dont go out much books is our major enjoyment.
We also had lunch out and to be honest despite spending so much money we had a lovely day which we both needed. Its been so long since we spent any quality time together. And he didnt even ask for any toys.
Thank you tutastic you spoke a lot of sense.
I will be staying here from now on and not wandering onto other threads.0 -
Oh sorry nearly forgot thanks to SG (my alter ego), you know what for.0
