If we vote for Brexit what happens

as I read it the USA index 'fell' but presumably this was a result of brexit
It fell slightly but is still postive. In the UK we went from growth to contraction.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Thanks as per the thank button. In a kind of just how obvious did this need to be made way. Some people clearly just did not get it. I am kind of done here on this topic because the Leavers will never see the slap you in the face blatant error of their ways. It will of course just be blamed on something other than Brexit whilst they peddle illusory arguments and false hope. No point wasting further energy on them or the argument.
Well, you really blew it guys. I directly hold you and Cameron accountable and always will. Healing the split, my axxe. The worse it gets for people financially the wider the gulf in the differences of how we should live and approach our neighbouring countries and fellow human beings will seem.
And this physiology, genetic stuff, scary thought processes. Blame game again anyone ? So the cycle of ineptitude and blame continues onwards, outwardly hating whatever you are told and failing to look inwards. You will seek your satisfaction in life from this decision of blame and fail. I will be moving on in mind and away from your mindset. At least it is clearer who and who not to forge allegiances with now in life.
We all have to lie in the bed but somehow cannot help but feel those who wanted to remain will be better equipped for the future.

You really do see life in black and white don't you? No swings and roundabouts? There is only one POV and it's yours.0 -
economic apocalypse
That wasn't a prediction I ever saw being made. Sterling weakness was predicted as was a contraction of GDP, negative impact on manufacturing, an extra 500k unemployed, negative credit outlooks, reductions in student numbers, etc.
The one prediction that was made that I didn't feel was justified was a reduction in house prices (which I see as being a good thing) but I'm prepared to wait and see.
We have seen headlines like these, and I personally know of two people who withdrew offers due to the Brexit result, but it's early days.

The only reason I brought the epigenetics up is because you're way over the top, like many social justice warriors. Your way is right and decent and any alternative is wrong and disastrous. Only your perception can be forward looking, people who hold other points of view are backward neanderthals.
I found the epigenetic argument a decent answer to why people who share your views are equally as intolerant of others views.0 -

And saying that left or right leaning is brain, physiology dependent isn't? That is a black and white and very dangerous view point. So education, age, life chances, experiences, discussion, general health and nutrition and thought has no bearing on that. BS.
People can and do change their political and social stance as life moves on. This alone suggests the physiological/brain angle is fiction and at worst extreme right wing propaganda.0 -

The reason why you brought it up is cause that kind of simple solution appeals to your simple ways of thinking and you probably believe it. And of course the fact your arguments are being completely clobbered senseless by all of the Remainers responses and not to mention : The HUMUNGOUS BODY OF ACTUAL EVIDENCE AND FACTUAL REPERCUSSIONS Your position as a Leaver is becoming weaker and weaker with every page of this thread.
We have ripped you to pieces because you are WRONG !0 -

SJW rage, I feed off it.
Do you know what I voted for? Do you know why? You may know the former but I'd wager you don't know the latter.
And regarding the epigenetic arguments, it's scientific, laboratory tested. Go and research it if you don't believe me. Facts don't care about your feelings.
The only attributable reason for any impact the UK is currently undergoing is uncertainty. Nothing else. Article 50 hasn't been invoked, we're not out of the EU, there's an outside chance we may never leave.
You can rage all you like, it doesn't change reality, science or my opinion.0 -

I don't doubt that the major part of the fall in the UK is due to the brexit effect, but the point is that these indexes fluctuate all the time as illustrated by the fall in the US index.
It will take some time to see how things play out and everything that happens in the world will NOT be because of brexit.
Lets see how things are in 6 months.0 -

You clearly have no idea what epigenetics is do you?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EpigeneticsIn the science of genetics, epigenetics is the study of cellular and physiological phenotypic trait variations that result from external or environmental factors that switch genes on and off and affect how cells express genes.

The physiological effects of epigenetics, the composition of the amygdala, pre-frontal cortex and decreased or increased dopamine receptivity have been shown to have an impact on political ideology. Just google it, there are research papers by scientists that you can read on the subject.
It's definitely not right-wing propaganda, it affects both sides adversely which is why some posit that both 'r' and 'K' gene set types are required for a balanced society.
i.e. the fall of Rome can be attributed to radical increases in 'r' type behaviour. Conversely the Chinese empires stagnation can be attributed to the oppression of 'r' type behaviour by 'K' type gene sets.0
