Roughly half of gross migration is from non EU countries - what makes you think that leaving the EU will stop inward migration from the EU? Cameron pledged to reduce net migration to the tens of thousands yet migration from non EU countries which our government supposedly has the power to control remained at about 300,000 per year.

What is it, therefore, that makes you so confident that leaving the EU will stop migration from EU countries.

~ 130000 Brits left the UK last year (many of those going to the EU for work etc)
~ 85000 Brits moved back to the UK last year (many of those returning from the EU)
~ 4+ million Brits living abroad, with ~ 2 mil of those living in the EU

    That's called freedom of movement.

PS. Looks like you need *some*. This is just an example.

11% of all NHS staff and 26% of doctors are foreign nationals

(not including those who already became British citizens)

    :) Thank you:)

The trade figure isn't wrong, you just don't understand what trade means.

Trade is a two way thing. The UK both imports and exports, both things are trade.

If you seriously want to leave the EU you might start brushing up on this stuff as the UK imports ~half of her food and a goodly chunk of that comes from the EU.

presumably, if we weren't members of the EU, they would refuse to sell us food, cars, wind turbines etc as they currently do it as a favour.

Australia appears to be be a prosperous country Gen.

How do they achieve this without being in the EU?

foreign born residents comprise about 12-13 % of the population so it would seems that foreign born are under-represented in the NHS

doctors present more due to the cast iron grip the BMA have on the training of doctors.

    .

the 12% foreign-born residents include both Brits born abroad plus foreign nationals.

the percentages I posted do not include foreign-born Brits in the NHS. it only includes foreign nationals (those without British citizenship).

Exports - to China, Japan, South Korea and other APAC countries. APEC, ASEAN membership or agreements. Mining industry. These are just some examples.

    You're welcome.
