I have a feeling that many voters also did that in the referendum, and it could account for why we are now in this situation.
Meet the Bregretters, the Leave voters who thought the UK would stay in the EU.

Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Bloody idiots, there are probably even more of them that are too embarrassed to admit to doing something so stupid.

They need to start a petition. Let's see how many of them there are. If there is enough of them, that could form a good argument for a second referendum.

Leave voters are very much more likely to be poorly educated and lack the skills to see through the lies.

They're also the least likely to be able to benefit from the changes ahead which is a consolation.

It's just more of media pronunciations talking about how the country feels from some warm comfy seats in London.

I'm not sure people get it.

If you ignore 2/3 of England in favour of London for a quarter of a century then eventually you just p1ss off a large section of the electorate.

Corbyn didn't get it. Cameron didn't get it.

The Remain camp message was "look at how life is so good because we are in the EU".

Well, if your life isn't even close to good, how hollow is that message going to sound.

When it's delivered by a smug g1t like Osborne it must sound even more hollow.

Even if Remain had won then all the disenfranchised would have vented their frustrations in the next GE.

London paying for the whole shebang wasn't enough for a bunch of idle winkers in the North. They actually wanted people to pretend that they had some value as they sat on their hands.

Now they've voted to reduce the ability of Londoners to pay their bills for them. Let's see how that goes.

    Idiot.

    Really?
Business Secretary Sajid Javid says he will hold a meeting this week with business leaders following the UK's vote to leave the European Union.
Mr Javid told the BBC his message to businesses was "there's no need to panic".
The UK's economic fundamentals are strong enough to weather any short-term market volatility, he said.
He added that the UK should not rush into talks with the EU about its withdrawal from the bloc.

    Business as usual.
