And the leave campaign sinks to another low...
One has to wonder how Orlando, (not being part of the EU I think?) ever became a target. Idiots.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

it seems to me to be equally distasteful to use this particular massacre on either side of the brexit argument0 -

This was news two days ago, and dismissed. You're a bit slow, aren't you?0 -
:rotfl:And removing yourself from the world's biggest economy is going to isolate you from all this :rotfl:
This entire campaign, on both sides, has slipped into the ridiculous. You must realise that by leaving the EU you remain 21 miles from Calais, right? You don't suddenly become a part of the Commonwealth, most of which hates you, or the US, most of which pities you.
The current head of India reckons you lot should pay compensation to India for what our parents did:
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jul/24/indian-prime-minister-modi-endorses-britain-paying-damages-for-colonial-rule
Australia has spent the last 50 years trying to deal with the fallout of being part of the Empire. You'll get no favours from the Indians or the Aussies. You could try Kenya I suppose but the Mau Mau hunts probably didn't win you many friends.
To be fair, most of what the Remain campaign has come out with is as much crap.
Britain is tied to Europe by geography and history and I can't see how voting to leave the EU is going to do anything other than leave you with the bits you don't like while adding expensive complications.
Its not going to leave him with any complications. He's a retired well off homeowner.
He doesn't have to work, find employment, navigate a post Brexit labour market, start a company, trade with anyone or actually do anything other than sit in his conservatory with a stack of Daily Mails and the Sudoku.
This is the thing with the Brexiteers, they are voting for the world to return to how it was when they were about four decades younger. Ignoring the fact that the UK was !!!!!! for many people back then, and the people who lived in it are all long gone.0 -

I'm in the Remain camp, but have to admit to finding some claims (on both sides, but particularly the Remain side) laughable. It's now at the 'boy who cried wolf' point!
Actually, thinking about this, whilst the first of the above works on the Remain side, perhaps the second photo should be applied more to how many Leave supporters see things if we stay in: a Borg collective with no individuality!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -
A Brexit survival guide:
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/jun/15/brexit-survival-guide-freeze-cheese-holidays-albaniaIs your toilet leaking? Don’t delay. Text Wladislaw right now, before he returns to Poznań. Remember what happened when you got dodgy Ken to fix that drip? That’s right, the strange stain on the ceiling keeps getting bigger.Remember those happy days when you strolled through EU airports past a long queue of loser non-EU citizens waiting for immigration officials to give them cavity searches and/or unpleasant frownings? Thanks to Brexit, you’ll be in that queue soon.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

The opposite is true in my experience.mayonnaise wrote: »Quote:

Doesn't seem to bother people when they travel outside the EU.0 -

...
I'm seeing a pattern here with the Scottish referendum and now the EU referendum.
First, offer a referendum, then ridicule people for interpreting that as having a choice.
Furthermore, make sure every single bit of dirty laundry gets dragged up in the lead in to the referendum.
Then sit back and wonder why there is much murmuring and disenchantment after the result, whatever it might be.
Even if the vote is to Remain, our mate Ozzy will blame any economic dip on that blasted referendum, forgetting which party actually offered it.0 -
