I'll take my own Government over being governed by old Men in Brussels thanks.

This is the people VS Cameron’s establishment chums, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, The IMF and the rest of the ruling class that have seen the rich get richer, taken us into pointless wars and promised us we’d fail unless we joined the Euro

    Ha ha, no it's not.

It's just one lot of the establishment versus another. Eton old boy versus Eton old boy.

No I don't what I'm saying is that getting rid of the EU doesn't change a single one of the UK's governance problems.

We live in a world where a man can walk away from a company leaving the rest of us to pick up the tab for the pension payments to his staff having taken out a billion quid while making sure the senior management pension scheme gets nicely topped up.

The boss of BP, despite mucking up the company and having the owners of the company (the shareholders) vote against his pay package, increase his pay from $15,000,000 to $20,000,000.

None of that changes because you quit the EU.

Many Brexiteers seem to think that the evils of the world will disappear if only they can get the Brussels monkey off their backs. It's rubbish.

The very people we reject at General Elections, the Kinnocks and the Mandelsons, are the very rejects then invited to rule over us and make law at the EU.

We fought a civil war to establish the principle laws may not be passed, taxied not levied unless by those we elect.

You're talking utter tripe me ole mucca - please watch the debate, especially when Hannan speaks from about 35 minutes in

Listen to what he says about the Japanese not wanting to joint the Chinese for example, or that NZ and Aus have no desire to form a federal union - that NO OTHER INDEPENDENT STATE FEELS THE NEED TO APLOGISE FOR VALUEING TRUE SELF DETERMINATION AND DEMOCRACY

And then after a few years got fed up with the Cromwells and got Charles II on the throne!

The EU doesn't rule over you.

Andrew Neil said during the debate that the EU has done free trade deals amounting to $7 trillion dollars of global GDP, little Switzerland has done deals worth $40 trillion worth of global GDP

EDIT - it does sound off, but none the less the point is small independent nations are out there doing deals across the world

So if it does nothing of consequence in terms of political union for us, why not just have a trade only agreement....

I know of not one person who thinks that the evils of the world will disappear if we leave the EU although there are many that think armeggaddon will befall us instead.

whilst company governance does indeed need changing there are many other aspects of UK life that can be changed by leaving the EU.
