I am amazed. I had gained the impression, from posts on this thread, there were many opportunities for huge extra sales of British goods to the USA.
Surely tarriffs at 2% on average is not correct.There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

A stonking speech in the US by the PM tonight.
Her homily to the nation state but still internationalist in outlook had me a tad glassy eyed.

Saw a great stat tonight on the news:
Apparantly growth in the first six months of the year was 0.9%.
In the second halve, 1.2%.

So May is expecting to talk to Trump about letting US companies get involved in the NHS as part of a trade deal, but apparently she is still committed to making the NHS free at source. Is this the sort of deals we get to look forward to with the US?
