If we vote for Brexit what happens

Economy grew by 0.6% October - December.
Good news, you'd think.
And then you hear the BBC. Brexit headwinds, Brexit uncertainty....be careful not to take too much from the figures. Brexit could cause inflation to rise to a shocking 3%.
When will they give this up?0 -

Alternative news providers are available.
Just read the Telegraph or Daily Mail if you only want biases confirmed.0 -

Thanks. Why don't you complain to the BBC?

Graham_Devon moaning because the BBC aren't being upbeat enough about the economic news. Got to admit I love the irony.0 -

Once again, you miss the point in order to create something personal as that's all you ever have.
Nothing to do with being upbeat. 0.6% growth is neither here nor there.
More to do with that fact that any news that comes out which goes against the fear stories the BBC pedalled out with hardly any room to breathe is dumbed down to "but be careful of brexit".
They don't need to mention brexit in the figures to apply some fear. The figures are what they are. They are much higher than the BBC suggested they would be 9 months ago.0 -

If the government decided to give every qualifying citizen (all of them bar 10 people) £10k's worth of newly printed tenners who do you think they would seek out for a news story?
You had no complaints when they were going on about zero hours every time unemployment fell.
May I suggest it's more likely you've changed than the BBC?
I've always though life looks better when viewed through rose tinted glasses. It's great you're finally on board.0 -
Good article describing the imperatives few of us take into account
Time and time again people fail to realise that the EU was a political project as much as an economic one.
...
Obviously.
And there is no mood amongst the British people to be part of this political project.
The sales brochure isn't exactly compelling is it. Juncker has not really hidden his disdain for the way we do things.
I think the EU will fracture long before they achieve these political goals. In a twist of irony I think the sense of disenchantment will come from some of the newer entrants to the Union.0 -
The panic displayed by some remain protagonists is about to get much worse I think after this:Britain's parliament will debate a bill to authorise the government to trigger the Brexit process by invoking Article 50 of the European Union's Lisbon Treaty on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, the House of Commons was told on Thursday.
The bill will then be examined during parliamentary committee sessions from Feb. 6 to Feb. 8 included, Leader of the House of Commons David Lidington said while outlining the parliamentary timetable for the next two weeks.
That follows this:The British government's bill seeking authorisation from parliament to start the formal Brexit process by triggering Article 50 of the European Union's Lisbon Treaty will be published at 1230 GMT on Thursday0
