If we vote for Brexit what happens

in what way is retailers not reducing prices anything to do with brexit?
did fuel / energy prices always reduce at the same speed they increased prior to 23 june 2016?
Nothing. I'm agreeing that the increase in prices of courgettes is due to the cold weather in Southern Europe and the exchange rate. We disagree about whether that exchange rate fell because the markets are betting on a reduced demand for sterling or because it dawned on them we had a trade deficit.
It's good news for the retailers because there hasn't been much in the way of inflation so they will have been able to use the cover of cold weather to 'kitchen sink' the price increases.but I agree with you that all UK businesses are cheats and crooks while I'm told that all EU27 business people are only concerned with the best interests of the customers.
I'll check that with that nice PM of Holland : I'm sure he will give me a totally objective view.
You judge objectivity by whether or not you agree with what's being said. Maybe when article 50 is triggered you'll relax a bit and stop seeing everything through a fog of cortisol.
You said you thought it was 50:50 whether we left the EU. You must be feeling more confident now. It's happening. You're getting your country back.0 -

You'd appear more credible if you acknowledged immigration was leave's trump card and most people didn't apply your finely honed analytical skills in making a voting choice.
He's correct though.
Even if they did vote based on immigration, it's not the individuals they object to but the system that is in place.
So you're just banging a bigoted drum rather than making any lucid observations as to why people voted how they did.0 -
My views on Brexit are fairly clear and have been articulated. I think/ hope we'll be fine but just not as fine as if we stayed and it seems like a bit of a kerfuffle just because people don't like foreigners that much.
Is that why you are content to discriminate against the peoples of countries of Black Africa (and about 150 others) in favour of countries that just happen to be white christian european.
The belief that exponential population growth is a good thing is madness and in a few years people will look back in amazement at the stupidity.
Political correctness Group think is a terrible liability and continues to do much harm.0 -

I am entirely comfortable with acknowledging that the key issue for many leave voters was immigration. I am also delighted that my particular view on this appears to be the view being taken by the U.K. Govt.
Fortunately I and many others do not equate a desire for immigration controls with 'not liking foreigners'.
I guess it's to be expected that now your main raison d'etre has been extinguished, that you feel the need to replace it with an alternative. Perhaps continue with your complaints regarding forum policing rather than pursue the line of 'all leave voters are stupid racists' as most of us have moved on from that fallacy.0 -

We've done this before.
Everyone knew well in advance of the vote that migration was one of the key issues showing up in polling.
It was up to the Remain camp to come up with an effective counter strategy to deal with this issue. Essentially, that centred around Cameron's special deal he had negotiated.
Sadly, he looked pretty isolated and weak in the negotiations, and Remain were unable to sell it as much of a positive.
There comes a point where you have to look at the failings of your own side, failure to convince voters.
Remain, representing the status quo, always had a head start because of the conservative nature of voters.
You should perhaps direct the blame at Team Remain for messing up so badly.0 -

Does that make his POV right?
Is he always right ?
Still, at 86 he does well to even continue making his predictions.
Nah, IMHO he's wrong on this too.
Like he was about Brexit.

Ajust because people don't like foreigners that much.
See, clarified your view of "I think it will be fine but it might not be" (i.e. I won't say anything at all that could catch me out) with another tired insult towards those who voted to leave the EU to ensure, without actually contributing anything or affixing your position, you remain on one side of the debate....
It's gutter stuff. You go around accusing people of all and sundry, but at the end of the day, your go to position, as always, appears to be insults over substance.0
