You Remoanrs truly are the stuff of cults. Make a note to yourself and open in in 2020, it will be hillarious boggle eyed stuff.

Almost no one once we are out will want back in, I guarantee it.

I'll be sure to bring this up when you want back in later
  • I shoud imagine there's a lot of unease in Brussels today.:rotfl:
Mr Trump promised a quick trade deal between the US and the UK after he takes office on Friday.
He also criticised "obsolete" Nato and German Chancellor Angela Merkel's immigration policies.

I suspect a quick trade deal with the US will be heavily stacked in the US's favour - he's made a big deal about massive import taxes, and he's fond of using his business clout to force terrible deals on anyone he works with.

I also suspect he'll probably want a US-UK trade deal to have some clause banning offshore windfarms.

Hopefully because the UK won't have left, so it won't be possible to want back in :)

If Mrs May hasn't got us out well before the GE she knows this would be deemed a signal failure to deliver on a promise (Brexit means Brexit etc) and thus would lose voters.

We are one another's largest investment partners, I envisage a deal will be built out of this existing synergy.

Whilst on the subject of doing deals with larger nations, NZ, Iceland and others enjoy a good trade deal with China - the paint by numbers logic from remainers that the smaller nation looses out is yet more muddled thinking

Trump threatening 35% tax on BMW imports into the US via Mexican factories....Ouch!
Perhaps BMW need to build their proposed new factory in the rust-belt instead. :)

My desire for a quick exit from the UK is also mine.

I also look forward to standing against the incumbent Conservative in the 2020 UK election, hopefully winning the seat and taking the UK back into the EU, into Schengen, into the Euro and into an ever closer Europe against the Brexiteers will. If I lose in 2020, I will re-stand in 2025 on the same promise.

The battle may have been won, but trust me, as in Farage's words, this is unfinished business.

    2020 manifesto promises;

    • Pay £25 millions per day for EU club fee
    • Unlimited immigration to keep lower paid wages down
    • More pressure on infrastructure and plaster the south east in concrete
    • More congestion
    • More pressure on farmers to increase yields, thus more chemical and industrial farming
    • Give away your democratic rights to old Men in Brussels
    • Your trade will be managed by the same
    • Focus on one corner of the Earth
    • Bail-out failing economies
    • Transfer your taxes to Brussels, they decide how much you get back and what it is spent on
    • Re-join the squabble shop where it takes a 10 years to make a trade deal

You have no idea what a hard brexit will look like, especially with the unpredictability of Trump in the mix. Neither does anyone else.........so your words are based on your own biased fantasised hopes for the future. I reckon until we see how it turns out comparing it with the world we had in the past is pointless!
