For everyone's information, this is the withdrawal clause from the EU treaty.

There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

And despite these EU imposed rules and regulations, companies have been flocking to the UK for the last 40 years to set up their European HQ here. Remarkable.

More likely Ireland or the Netherlands. Though changes to tax legislation may change the playing field somewhat.

If Italy blows the EZ is done. Brexit then a pointless sideshow.

There are three groups. 1) Stay in, 2) get out and 3) undecided (but sceptical of the information available)

However can we agree on one thing....
The referendum should happen sooner rather than later. Continued speculation is not in the UK's interest. I am disturbed to see that Cameron is now talking mid 2017 not 2016.

If 2016 is looking rocky, particularly the eurozone, then I'm not surprised an incumbent government would want to delay the referendum. I agree with you though, the sooner the better.

I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but I have come across this blog on Brexit, its impact, what people think, etc. It is also useful imo in that it links to other Brexit reports and materials:

    http://thebrexitblog.ideasoneurope.eu/

It also links to this, which is a broader forum re the EU:
    http://ideasoneurope.eu/

And this, which is an old report (2014), but gives opinions of other countries on a Brexit, including countries such as Ireland, Norway, the USA (as well as the obvious France, Germany etc).

There is a lot of pro-EU info, but it is still an interesting website for people like me who are trying to negotiate their way round the lack of neutral information. I am still likely to vote YES to remain, but am by no means a Euro-apologist.

admittedly I haven't read all the links but I would guess that
-security of the EU is discussed with barely a mention of NATO
-that standards of living are mentioned without discussing the large fall in standard of living due to high house prices in London and the SE of the under 40s age group.

The risk of delay is that new EU laws like MIFID II are taking shape over the shorter term and are in many instances immensely harmful to the City. If we see firms indicating they will leave the UK because of EU rules - and as currently drafted, we will - this will be excruciatingly bad timing for the Stayers. It will also nix the Stayers' claim that business will leave if we do.

NATO is mentioned quite a lot, especially in the paper about other countries and their views.

Don't recall seeing anything on high house prices in London and SE, or under 40s living there.
