If we vote for Brexit what happens

If you feel that your own concerns are well discussed and dealt with appropriately by the EU parliament and system then vote to stay.
I did.I feel there is a huge disconnect between my concerns and reform /change in Europe which is why I vote to leave.
I agree that there are, but I disagree that any of the problems are caused by Europe, rather than the incompetent or unwilling UK muppets we've appointed to deal with the EU.
I agree that all of your concerns in general are valid, but I disagree that any of them are the fault of the EU. Unfortunately, I fear that if I'm proven right, and nothing changes once we've left the EU, either you'll still find some way to blame the EU, or it'll be too late to do anything about it.0 -

!!!!ing hate Bob Geldof especially as 1) He's Irish and 2) He lives in Paris.
I contemplated moving this morning too.....so depressing tbh.
Obviously, money means more to many of the voters than the dangers of Heathrow expansion – and people have always been susceptible to propaganda with huge amounts of money behind it.
Agree with your second sentiment.
Don't be too depressed. I just feel like detaching myself from much of what this country is becoming, and focusing on my own interests (I have many) and family unit. If this country wants to destroy itself and lose what it achieved with such difficulty over centuries of strife, then so be it. It is unlikely to affect me (I hope), but will affect the brainwashed near-future generations to a great degree – one of the reasons I decided not to have children. Britain has not yet experienced occupation, with rule by creatures following political extremes such as fascism or communism (though self-indulgent, affluent lefties would of course have you believe otherwise). It is welcome to experience their delights.
Meanwhile, I will get on with my life and experience as much as I can that is good and beautiful.:T0 -

I am an eternal optist and believe that changes can be made for the better.
I note your belief that the EU is faultless and that the UK people's representatives are muppets.
I consider that a less than balanced view.0 -

Good to talk to you and good to know that some in Richmond feel the same as some of us in Ealing. Maybe the 3rd runway will never happen - Willie Walsh has always said so.....
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to post.

We're a long way away from any serious progress on the third runway I suspect, its going to be bogged in challenges for a long time.0 -
Whether it’s Brexit or Trump, populists are such sore winnersUnlikely political victors in the US and UK are now even angrier: because, robbed of the ability to blame everything on others, they can no longer play the victimThe forces that gave Brexit and Trump momentum coalesced around grievance rather than vision. There was no agenda, no genuinely thought-out project that the winners could soberly set about executing, just resentment. And the grievance narrative must be continued even in success because that is pretty much the whole energising principle.
Truer words were never spoken...

So am I, but I'm also a realist in that I'm aware that not all change is for the better. Especially when they change is so unknown.I note your belief that the EU is faultless and that the UK people's representatives are muppets.
I consider that a less than balanced view.
Fortunately it's not my view. The EU has faults, but that doesn't excuse the UK's political faults. My view is that the EU gets blamed for an awful lot of stuff that it has no responsibility for, and that most of the things that Brexiteers think will be fixed when we leave the EU will still be issues long after we've left.
You seem to be of the view that the EU is the problem and that UK sovereignty will fix it. Whilst I've got the view that the UK government is pretty much incompetent, and without the EU to overrule it's wilder suggestions, we're just going to make things worse.0 -
"Educate yourself on the 'real deal' fascists currently making real gains on mainland Europe, it is truly scary"
At the mo' tromking, I am a lot more concerned about those people in England, who are posting what can only be described as death threats on Twitter, abusing us 48% for resolutely believing in staying in the EU, and still abusing foreigners for being, well, foreign!0 -
I am absolutely delighted that the 'Brextremist' Zac is out on his ear, humiliated by losing a 20,000+ vote majority to a political novice.
It's been a good week.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
