Yet no one seems concerned with the UK's indebtedness.
Blame it all on Brexit. Rather than ourselves as a nation.0 -
The remoaners won't be content unless the British economy is bought to its knees. They cannot / will not accept that the UK can succeed outside of the EU. When it does they'll just say it would have succeeded even more if we'd stayed in. They really are a sad bunch of losers.
I notice we don't see much of HAMISH these days? Always telling us how great rampant house inflation was, now watching the value of his Aberdeen home plummet. :rotfl:0 -

No, "UK household wealth has fallen by $1.5tn". As in US dollars, rather than any other kind of dollars. UK household wealth in GBP has been largely unaffected.
Confusing 'fiinances' with 'wealth' and USD with GBP is a clear sign of a news source lacking in journalists.0 -
Brexit minister David Davis accused of 'having no idea what Brexit means' after saying UK wants to stay in single marketBrexit Secretary David Davis has apparently told a senior EU politician that Britain wants to stay in the single market, sparking further confusion about the Government’s strategy.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0

Amazing how easy it is to dupe EU polititians - and MSE posters too apparently. If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -
one assumes that anyone stupid enough to take this seriously, will already be on the plane to Columbia or Turkey to beat the rush.
Yes, every person in the country is £20,000 worse off already :rotfl:
It's completely laughable.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
The MSM ('Lugenpresse' - see the Richard B Spencer video the whole media is in a froth about > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o6-bi3jlxk), has been found out and more and more of us are turning away from it.
RT is biased, but at least you get to see things through Russian eyes which provides light bulb moments you would never get from the condescending, hugely biased BBC
In 1992 I happened to befriend the Kashmir Liberation Front. They were early independent freedoms fighters. Young kids really (with friends with bombs) and a strong belief that Kashmir should be independent. John Smith supported their independence cause and my labour and peaceful Kashmir independence sympathies held well in Kashmir at the time. The brutality of the Indian government to the people of Kashmir was horrific, these guys were the good guys at the time from what I could tell, it was a real David and Goliath battle. However I didnt want to become involved in anyone else's war, I just wanted to hang out on the dal lake and read science fiction, best laid plans and all that. I guess the moral of the story is don't travel into a war zone if you don't want to get caught up in a war.
One day I met the leader of the Pakistani (or afghan) kashmir terrorist faction unbeknown to me (this flashed up briefly on the telly later on) quite accidentally whilst trekking (these guys were the real professional terrorists) and I almost got myself kidnapped / shot (according to my guide ) for arguing ( quite well if I may say) that the scots had more success through peaceful politics than the northern Irish did through terrorism. I had the leader of this terrorist army on the ropes in an argument with others watching in a small tea tent in the rain on these Himalaya mountains. The bearded leaders extra big body guard was sitting on a green bazooka box, with a bazooka in it. I know because I saw the leader on sky news a few day later holding the bazooka. I wish I can remember the name of the faction he was the leader of, it was similar to muhadjine but longer, like mujahjadadine or something.
In those days the head office of the KLF ( the KLF lyrics did play on my mind ) was the local TV shop.
The young KLF fighters told me they always watch the BBC. They said it was because the BBC were the one news channel they could trust.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -
Holy carp padington, that's a bit ballsy. To think that I had you down as a cute bear in a duffel coat. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It's amazing how stupid and fearless you can be when you're young. I was sunbathing in the day and then getting below water level in the house boat to duck from bullets from running gun battles at night. Crazy really.
Apparently Jesus Christ is buried there, I never got to the bottom of that one though.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0
