If we vote for Brexit what happens

did you vote to treat the people of black africa the same as the people of white christian europe in terms of trade and immigration or did you vote to treat them differently?
This really is below you. Africa is completely outside of this argument as it's not within the EU so I have no idea what your point is.
Us Remainers wanted to stay in the EU so that we could continue to trade unhindered with Europe. Brexiteers claimed that we will be able to trade with the Commonwealth soon and Africa would be our closest market but it wasn't made clear what we would be selling to the likes of Kenya.0 -
Dont draw parallels between two separate issues. The issue of globalisation and how its affected black Africa is a huge one. Besides when looking at such issues I would hardly regard you as having the interests of black Africa at the top of your agenda. You are just stirring the pot as usual;)
you postedTotally agree. Cant abide the little Englanders who have destroyed our future due to their hatreds and just assume the 48% will just accept our fate.
now you seem to be saying the treatment of foreign peoples (well Black African peoples) is a totally separate issue.
although I don't like the phrase, but if there are 'little englanders' it would seem to be people like you that refuse to discuss how black africa are treated by your beloved white christian EU. Brexit is an opportunity to make a difference : you (proudly) rejected any change to those the EU discriminates against in the world today.
you have made it absolutely plain that you have no concern for anothing outside narrow labour party policitics, however it would be wrong to assume that no-one else has the moral compass you so clearly lack.0 -
No for me, its values above personalities every time.
interesting to know that you think thatone expects you to start voting tory now that you support their industrial strategy, as no sane person could vote for the dysfunctional, racist, antisemitic, Trotshyite, terrorist supporting, KGB/Putin supporting, private schools supporting labour party leadership.
are all values you agree with.0 -
The only years of abuse was the years of racist name calling and physical assault on minority's which we were close to seeing the end of, until brexit gave hate criminals some more wind in their sails.
Nothing to celebrate.
In the grim days befor Blair opened the floodgates, when we had better managed immigration in the tens of thousands, people weren't so focused on immigration.
Liberal establishment gave us Brexit, people with your world view that ignored and dismissed concern0 -

You're an intelligent person.
Why do you allow your mind to be influenced by nonsense?

You're not convincing anyone that the people of 'black Africa' are higher up your priority list by virtue of you voting to leave the EU.
We either voted to stay a member of the EU or not. The government will decide what else we voted for and let us know in due course.
That might involve us staying in the customs union which would preclude us from seeking trade deals. I take Vince Cable's mutterings with a pinch of salt but that's what he thinks the Nissan deal is indicative of.

Some (maybe many) 'remainers' choose to use terms like 'little englander' which has derogatory connotations about wanting to withdraw into a shell.
It seems appropriate to discuss this openly and how the alternative of the EU is blatantly racist and has done acknowledged harm for over 40 years. It is of course true, that no remainers in any way defend the indefensible but simply refuse to discuss the matter of EU harm.
I have a long history of criticising the protestionist and discriminatory policies of the EU and of the harm they have done to both developing countries and to the people of the EU.
Whatever the standing of my moral concerns for the developing countries of africa, they don't even seem to get on bottom of your list at all.

Indeed, we do not know the future, whether of not we start or leave the EU.0 -
We dont need that, if they dont agree to our trade deals we can support our business with the money we pay into the EU.. The EU countries cant afford to support their own trade business .. plus we would be better off, as we import more than we export.
No wonder they wont talk till we trigger article 50. (Project le fear),

Not quite. Even the WTO has some state aid rules, and direct subsidies to businesses will likely alienate nations we wish to trade with both in and outside of the EU. This sounds very much like a Corbynite version of Brexit anyway; subsidies to failing businesses.
The government is more likely to cut business taxes. Developing infrastructure would be another option, as long as we don't end up with the many cargo cult projects the regions like developing. What's in it for the French to allow passporting for our financial services (by far our biggest industry)?0
