Daniel Hannon one of the most eloquent speakers on Brexit before the 23rd (impressive I admit).

Same guy on the morning of th 24th June. Definitely went up in my estimation.

How have the extreme right kidnapped the Brexit process?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Watching UKIP rep on 'This Week' last night I realised that obviously they can't keep the UKIP name, with all the policies on Patriotism and working class policies (they are after the Labour vote in the north). I have a great new name they can use National Socialist, I think it has used before but shouldn't be a problem.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. It's an interesting question.
Now if we are to believe the official government line, Brexit was basically just about immigration, it certainly wasn't about things like pumping an extra £350m a week into the NHS.
The whole approach looks more like a party political calculation to hoover up the UKIP voters from that particular rotting political carcass than anything else.0 -

I've always been behind Daniel Hannan's views on the referendum pre and post.
I see no problem with FoM so long as we're free of the political union and able to free trade both with the EU and the rest of the world, EEA/EFTA is fine by me.0 -
Was Britain so terrible prior to Blair opening the floodgates, did cabbages rot in the field unpicked?
I haven't got a problem with Blair opening the floodgates, we now have over a million mostly young Poles who have assimilated very well (up to the Brexit vote). The intention was to change the age profile of the country after warnings of a demographic time bomb. The problem is obviously the lack of investment in infrastructure.
The warnings are still coming, even in the Telegraph as seen in this article.Looking further out, the 85 and overs will make up 7.4pc of the population by 2065, up from 2.4pc today and 0.7pc in 1965, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), the Government’s fiscal watchdog.
This has a number of serious implications.

The demographics problem has as much to do with it being unaffordable to have 2 kids for many and having to have both parents work to make ends meet.
If that wasn't the case there would be no need to import young people to solve the demographic issue, so surely the UK parliament should be looking to resolve the tax burden on UK families first and foremost.0 -

I'm ashamed of this country. Why don't you go live in Poland then? Where you can enjoy the tolerance & zero racism that Eastern Europe is so famous for.
And God help you if you want to terminate a pregnancy - even if you've been raped. RT really has no idea what he's talking about (not news I know.)0 -

That's just political points-scoring between the ultra-convservatives and was scrapped about 2 days after it was proposed.0
