    Really?
Anyone who has certain job security two years hence and more is extremely fortunate.

Can you tell us that your job in Luxembourg is guaranteed secure for over two years from now?

Job insecurity is part of any package. I am just pointing out that the uncertainty and anti foreigner atmosphere after the Brexit vote has increased that insecurity.

I do not and did not work in Luxembourg. I am now retired.
However having worked in an international envirement I know all about job security or lack of it.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

    doubtless you are correct
sad that you never post about the uncertainty being experienced by the UK people in the 27 EU countries that refuse to provide any residency assurances : but most of the EU isn't as welcoming and liberal and fair minded as the UK.

    The pound is strengthening fwiw.

Wow, it's looking as if the Government have excepted the legal argument that triggering Article 50 IS REVERSABLE!!!

if there is a majority of MPs that wish to vote in parliament on any matter, then there is nothing the government can do to stop them.

    Hmmm.
I will believe that when it is confirmed - and actually happens.
    raised the possibility
    it is very likely
If this vote ends with MPs rejecting the Brexit deal, the UK would still leave the EU, Lord Pannick, who is acting for the campaigners challenging the government, told the court.
"Parliament cannot reverse the notification," he said.

Both the BBC and FT articles report that the Brexit deal that's cut when we finally exit the EU (long after May has enforced Article 50) is what Parliament may get the opportunity to ratify.

Really grasping at straws to hope that Parliament could somehow block Article 50 itself.

Just to explain, as best I can, the REVERSIBLE issue.
This is above my pay grade

The high court arguments were based on wether triggering article 50 was a REVERSIBLE decision or not.
I the court considered it REVERSIBLE the Government would be FORCED to debate it in Parliement.
Yesterday's decision to allow a debate BEFORE the High Court ruling suggests the Government excepts that triggering A50 IS REVERSABLE.

OR ITS THE OTHER WAY ROUND!!!

    Here, read it yourselves

Thank you for that precise, knowledgeable and inciteful posting.

    You're welcome.

To be more precise, tax rates of 75% and major bureaucratic barriers to setting up businesses and employing people seem to be quite good reasons for French people to come to a business friendly city like London which is almost within commuting distance of Paris.
