If you genuinely thought that, then you are fool and total bigot.
Whilst it is true that 'remainers' voted for protectionist trade policies and explicitly for racist discrimination in trade and immigration, you should not assume that is true for everyone else.

"a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions"

When that opinion is formed through lies and manipulation and an undemocratic process (blatent lies should not be acceptable as part of a working democracy) it is called common sense. peace is vital over and above all. Voting Brexit was voting for changing the status quo in a manner of which they had no comprehension of the result due largely to ignorance, a status quo which has served us very well in terms of peace and trade and prosperity. More important, by far than some cheap imports.

Look to the government who will now be extremely exposed when they cut rights and deepen the gap between haves and have not's.

There is nowhere to hide, you voted for people being worse off and will have to live with that.

Why else would Unilever attempt to impose such hefty price rises? If not due to exchange fluctuation. I worked in the agricultural sector for some years so have an insight.

Tesco/Unilver is the tip of the iceberg. Everything from elsewhere is going up directly caused by devalued pound which is directly caused by Brexit. I don;t buy the pound was over valued BS. That is just people on the back foot from their own voting stupidity/responsibility.

I won't beat about the bush, Brexiter voters has caused mass problems for this countries future that will result in almost everyone being worse off. Jobs will go next, they already are.

Cheap imports from transferring the production etc abroad. Doesn't benefit those now trapped in low paying jobs. An economy has to work for everyone not a select few. Suggests little understanding of why people feel they they do. From the UK, the rust belt of the USA, France, Italy , Spain. There's growing resentment towards this ignorant attitude towards people with comments such as this.

Explain how brexit will increase low paying jobs wages ?

Explain how brexit will reinvigorate UK production lines ?

As an example no one cared when Cadburys left the UK. Why the concern now over overpaid bankers? Take a macro view of the entire economy.

It's certainly not true that no one cares when jobs go abroad. Quite the opposite as far as I'm concerned.

Financially it makes a huge difference though. If a company stops employing in the U.K. and 500 people earning an average of £25,000 lose their job then it's a massive hit for the local economy. If a bank moves out of London and 500 people earning an average of £75,000 lose their jobs then not only is that terrible locally but it starts being a big hit nationally.

I have long had a feeling that for a significant number of brexiteers voting to leave was in part a way to get their own back on the bankers for the problems that a minority of them have caused.

I agree that politicans of all parties tell blatant lies. Grown up people reluctantly accept this.
You may think people don't deserve democracy and you are entitled to hold you totalitarian views
You may think that other people who don't agree with you are ignorant but you show your ignorance and bigotry in virtually every post.
You clearly have a hatred of UK democracy and that is your choice : maybe you see a better model elsewhere.

I voted for free trade : you voted for protectionism and tariffs
I voted to treat all countries equally in terms of trade and immigration : you vote to discriminate against most non white, non christian non european countries.

If you really want dirt cheap labour post-Brexit you exploit huge numbers of Indians and similar, just as Qatar does.

You scrap the minimum wage and bring in these workers in temporary work visas, with no residency rights whatsoever.

I'm sure that a liberal or two will be along shortly suggesting this is cruel and unfair practice.

That same liberal probably thinks nothing of buying an iPhone built by someone with few labour rights, working 12 hour+ shifts , 6 days a week.

We are own worse hypocrites at times.

Nissan have already been to No 10, no doubt leaving Mrs May with no doubt what their expectations are.

BMW, VW, Toyota, Honda, Airbus, Rolls Royce and any other number of major manufacturers will all no doubt be making the same journey over the next few weeks.

    Free trade or subsidies?

At the moment is seems to be the EU who will decide whether they will levy tariffs on UK products like they do on most of the rest of the world.
