Been told we should get an answer today, wasn't looked at by an underwriter yesterday.
But previous to that they had asked for two bits of information on separate occasions
Please hold thumbs for us - Feels so close yet so far. I'm hoping that because its close to the weekend they will be a bit more happier
Hope they've got the Friday feeling :-) fingers crossed for you0 -

Thanks, nervous because I have an arranged overdraft that I am always in, but only because i treat it as a credit card amd transfer my wages into our joint account every month.
I read that Antmusic was offered almost half less :eek:0 -

Any news?
Halifax have agreed our case and valuation has been instructed. Just waiting now for further updates, but really happy so far.0 -
Nothing yet, assume it's with underwriters, if I haven't heard anything by Friday I'm going to give them a call and see how it's going...0

I would chase them up, have your company supplied the relevant info?
Hope you get some good news soon0 -
I would be in the same boat as you WCN, I'm watching your posts! I'm also going back after maternity leave soon. I was hoping to get a mortgage just in my name but the building societies won't have it. One of the brokers suggested Halifax but I heard they were strict with defaults. My partner has 2 in the past year from being made redundant and a CCJ from 2 years ago which we only found out about recently as the bank sent correspondence to an old address. All small amounts.
Is it worth putting the notice of correction on his file do you think? My credit is all hunky dory, it's just his that is stopping us moving.0 -

The fact you have defaults is fine, we have a few between us. However they are satisfied and are for small amounts. I can't speak in relation to CCJ's. My understanding is a NOC can cause problems as its flags up a manual review when you apply for credit, although Experian suggested to my wife to put one on as it gives you the opportunity to explain the glitches and justify them. In our case we were accepted.
We both have credit card debt and my wife is on maternity leave, although we're not quite there yet it's seemingly going well.
I could only recommend using a good Mortgage Advisor (plenty offer there services for free)as they will review everything and suggest the best lender to try, we got rejected by Natwest after having an AIP and Nationwide through one mortgage advisor, but our current MA has been great and we needed to increase our deposit.0 -
Mine is FINALLY with the underwriters now as they at long last have my pay details, they had to resend them as they were lost... Why stiff can't just be scanned and emailed is beyond me, but hey-Ho never mind should hopefully know some point this week if I'm getting some shiny new keys 0
