45 minutes on the phone;;blah blah blah;
did a £1 test to new a/c, ok .open.0 -

But they are very nice M&S peeps, that I don't mind speaking to,
if I can make some money.0 -
My switch is progressing nice and smoothly (and quicker than expected too).
Both of The phone calls were straightforward and I'm almost wishing I switched a donor account as opposed to my genuine main bank account, such was the lack of grilling! A few questions yes, but nothing very awkward.
Switch due to go through on Thursday. Already have Internet access sorted and All DDs/payments etc are showing on my M&S account. Only thing I'm waiting for is a cheque book now but not particularly desparate for it.0 -
What kind of questions were asked?0

and when it comes to my switching call I shall once again relate how I used to be a "Saturday girl" in M&S!! (Completely true I hasten to add )Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I have already done 2 x £1 transfers from my main a/c, which are showing on my new M/s a/c, BUT, I cannot open it up by clicking on it, to do anything else, or see the transactions?
I can with my CC which is also with them, and on the same page..
I want to set up SO,s etc, but until I can open it up, cannot.
Seems I may have to make a call:(0 -
After a bit of trouble getting through due to the volume of calls (kept getting cut off on Monday, wasn't able to try last night), I've confirmed all the switching details tonight and the process starts on Friday for a completion date of next Friday 5th. Tonight I was on the phone for 30 mins in total, much of it on hold (they only have 4 songs on repeat as their hold music) but it's all sorted and they are very helpful.
Got access to my new account sorted (although I'm really not a fan of the little gizmo you need to access/change stuff),SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Have tried to activate my debit card tonight.... on hold for 15 minutes, then five minutes and got so sick of listening to the "music" that I gave up for tonight!
Sorry, I am really not impressed, if they have issued loads of cards then they should have loads more folk on the switchboard. I note they did not "value my call "on the recorded message!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
