Only for new switchers and accounts but you now get the £100 plus £10 per month if you pay in £1000 and switch 2 direct debits.

Edit: this is a M&S voucher, not cash, unfortunately

it's a good deal. i'm already on board, unfortunately, but good to see them upping the game in trying to attract customers.

£10/m is a nice touch too.. ties you in, but rewards you in the process.

That's a very easy "tie-in" to live with. Wish I didn't already have an M&S account.

You must not have previously used the Current
Account Switch Service to switch to one of our
M&S Bank current accounts (whether or not they
are currently open) or submitted a ‘Switching your
standing orders and Direct Debits’ form to us.

It isn't made clear as to whether this goes back to the recent past are right back to the big bang.

M&S Bank probably hasn't been around for that long so it doesn't matter.

The "M&S Bank" brand has been around since 2012, and M&S financial services have been around in other guises since 1985. http://bank.marksandspencer.com/explore/about-us/history/

They launched their current account in 2014, several months after the CASS became available.

Therefore, if you ever used CASS to switch to M&S before, you do not qualify for this latest offer.

I opened my current account in Oct but not yet done the £100 switch as have 6 months. So looking at the T&C it looks like rather than switching into this existing account, I can open another one and switch into that for the £220 then use it as a donor account after 12 months given my current existing account will suit the requirement for the Reg Saver.

Yes, this time I am finally going to change after 30years. Nothing to lose. I am retired but my monthly income is above their minimum requirement.

I wasn't aware that there were any minimum income requirements for this account - nothing obvious looking at the M&S website?
