    Morning all
Hugs to all who need them
cs drop off done along with shopping and friends pressie bought
Saw a big stack of sad looking hardback books in back of CS asked and she said they can't be sold as they are too old. She's given 6 to me to book fold and return in time for their Valentine craft display sale. They can be sold as craft but not for reading so we're going in recycling.
Just grabbing a cuppa then going to drop mils shopping round, visit dd1 to take some let Crimbo gifts that arrived for her then take friends birthday ores round. It's Dh birthday tomorrow so we are hoping weather is good enough to go for a walk this afty, all kids round for lunch tomorrow. Hoping dd3 has managed to get preview tix for a film he really wants to see.

    Have a good day all.

    note to self page 15

been busy with an extra morning at work so house is a tio

    BUT

some excellent money saving - I have found a home policy that's WAY cheaper than my auto renew so old policy cancelled; now I just need to take up new policy TODAY. I have done research through Quidco too! So extra £££ should be coming my way.

And another sale on Amaz0n so walked to PO and that has gone. it should be delivered Monday. Official despatch date is Monday! That's two things gone, for good prices. Woot. Nattered to lady across the road and am invited to pop in for tea if I am lonely when kids aren't around so that's nice...

I'm going to clean kitchen first...then work 'in'.

Want to watch last night's mastermind - I now know who won though - my friend from way back who was on her second attempt! So pleased for her!

Was out last night at the theatre was an awesome production - and the set was incredible!

I've spent two days sorting the filing cabinet and it's not finished but it's a lot better and there's a satisfying amount of space in there now. So much for 15 minutes on paperwork. The attic's been overhauled after we spent about three hours up there working together. Not much snarling at each other but enough to remind us that we're not that brilliant at working together. Handle with care and all that.

Panto muso has been invited to return for December '16s panto so she's booked for another stay. Good-oh.

And yes, thank you so much for his birthday wishes Ionafan, OH had a lovely day, part of which always involves demolishing Christmas (Twelfth Night theatrey type, rather than Epiphany.)

Towels. Mine doesn't get that wet because I can't bear soggy towels cluttering the place up with condensation. I swish myself down with a flannel before I get out of the bath/shower and then there's not much work left for the towel to do. I have a very large stack of flannels and a tiny stack of towels. So does OH. Saves a fortune on laundry.
    Better is good enough.

Hello flyladies. Hope you're all ok, too many pages to read right through again.

Puff the magic dragon currently on the radio, brings back memories of the first time I heard it - at infant school - good job the teacher didn't know what it is about.

Right, so I've been up since the crack of dawn when DH got up for his paid stuff. I have been on a walk with the dogs, got the washing done, dailies done, planting plans done for this year and have been out in the garden, but got too cold so had to come in. Meal plan for the week is done, and shopping list texted to DH to get on his way home. Oh and I sewed up a hole in my coat pocket.

I've just had an early lunch. Will pop out again with the dogs next as I now have a letter to post.

Once back, I intend to hoover/sweep/mop through the house.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

I spent what was left of the morning sorting out the dvr and playing with the dog. Just having some soup for lunch then I'll get on with some jobs in the livingroom so I can carry on watching programmes on the dvr that aren't suitable for around DD.

    Hi all

Hoovered most of the house, utility and office to do. Windows flung open to let some air in. 2 loads of washing, one load in the tumbler as its mostly undies, socks and pjs. Swished round with the duster, washed the kitchen floor.

Doggie refused to go out beyond the garden gate, no surprise really, think he is still feeling a bit off it.

I have a delivery booked from Mr A between 2 and 4. Is is just me or do you hate waiting for your shopping to arrive? Keep looking at the clock and checking out of the window.

Right, off to finish the hoovering and finish tidying the kitchen.

Everything now done that I planned. My paper hasn't been delivered today - maybe because I haven't paid my bill for about three weeks - so I'm going to pop to the shop now to put that right.

    Just updating my list:

    - Course writing continues: the first draft of Unit 1 is now done :j
    - Phone J - postponed until tomorrow
[STRIKE]- Remove molehill from lawn and cut back old hellebore leaves so that we can see the flowers[/STRIKE] - I also mowed the lawn!!!! I had put Autumn feed on it rather late and with the mild weather it had continued to grow and was definitely in need of a light trim :rotfl:
    [STRIKE]- Laminating[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- Prepare papers for Trustees' Meeting [/STRIKE] - done as much as I can, but got refused access to internet banking  probably because I don't log in frequently enough
    [STRIKE]- Sort DGS2's birthday present[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Write and [/STRIKE]post D's birthday card
    - Go to a concert with DH this evening - really looking forward to this
