I've cleared the laundry (Ironing pile is tiny, but I'm waiting on non-tumbledrier stuff to dry before I do it), put all the laundry related things away in the cupboard for the first time in a week, WM on a hot cleaning cycle, cleared the mending pile (including repairing DD's hanging shoe rack rather than replacing it) and worked my way through a lot of my programmes on the dvr in the process. I also deleted some programmes of mine without even watching them. Made tea, DD has washed up and done all her homework.
Now I'm going to sit and sort out a shopping list for Mr A tomorrow while I wait for my phone to charge the last 30%. I'll also clean tomorrow honest!:p :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
The concert exceed my (already high) expectations - it was excellent
I have even sorted a few more papers since we came home, whilst drinking my last :coffee: of the day!0 -

Morning flyladies.
Frizzle - what a lovely thing for your friends to do
Piggers - lovely knitting
Started today clearing up after OldDog, her bed is now in the machine. I'm planning a relaxing day with DH today (our first day off together since Xmas day) so will just walk the dogs later and make food.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning lovelies
Had a very busy week, first week back at work after the hols and post christmas clean up and 2 weeks worth of muck to clean up in all my houses, tiring but satisfying, i just love getting stuck in in January, so theyre all lovely and sparkly
Mine is doing ok too, had a surprise visit from 2 council workers on Wednesday at 8.30am wanting to take down my kitchen ceiling and replace with a new one, i had the job in but didnt know they were coming that day, it was chaos lol they didn't leave till 3.50, all my days plans were scuppered which I wasnt too happy about but on the plus side my ceiling is now done and just needs a coat of paint woot!
Ive also joined the decluttering thread, I want to streamline all my cupboards, units, sideboard , wardrobes etc so I gave myself a challenge to chuck out 10 things per day for the whole of this month, then see where im at, 100 things out so far once ive done todays 10 things.
Its tip run day today, was going wednesday but had to put it on hold as couldn't get to the porch to get the stuff, im looking forward to it, is that sad? Haha
Usual washing, cooking, tidying will also be done today, then I can just chill and whing the rest of the day. DD1 is 38 weeks today, its flown over, im drunk with excitementxx

Can I ask for positive vibes please. Things came to a head over J's hoarding .... he wouldn't let me get rid of 15 x National Trust year books going back to 1999 because 'I like to look at them'. B****cks. Whenever I go near his stuff apparently he gets really stressed and in his words 'you do your job and I'll do mine'. I'm not to go anywhere his stuff. Problem is his stuff is huge and is taking over the whole house. I'd thrown out 47 (yes I counted) pens that didn't work but he was upset because he was sentimentally attached to some. The whole house is full of carp.
He said he'd get rid of his stuff if I get rid of my darling Whiz Whippet. No way. He denies he's a hoarder but he categorically is. I asked him to get help and at first he said no, but then he agrees yes and asked me to book counselling. I thought he meant for hoarding but he means Relate for both of us so I'm going to ring and book something tomorrow morning.
Feeling scared, vulnerable and have shaky legs (warning sign of MH flare up waiting to happen).Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
