You'd have a lot more taxes left to be used elsewhere if you enforced the more cost effective measure.
In Africa if you can't afford to sustain your kids then they probably die, nobody else pays for your kids.
In China until recently some areas would force abortions on 2nd/3rd children...otherwise they'd face a financial penaltyPerson_one wrote: »Deciding how to handle an unplanned pregnancy is a huge and very personal decision, and only the pregnant woman can or should make it. A termination that she doesn't really want could impact on her for years to come, and a child she doesn't really want will impact on both of them.
Also I don't see why people get so bent out of shape about "it". The gender is unknown so it's fine, I don't see "the kid" being any better. If I was having a kid & happy about it I'd still probably say "We're not sure what gender it is yet, we've got a meeting next Tuesday to find out"Mortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0

Some poor 17 year old is going through probably (hopefully, in a way) the toughest time of her life, and a load of strangers at home comfortably tapping away on their laptops are sitting in judgement thinking they know what's best for her and her baby.

They are a couple, they are together....He works full-time as a bus driver at 21 which to me seems like he is responsible and no different to an older parent who manages to provide for their families..
Not all single mothers keep popping out kids for the benefits many are hard working parents who have to deal with ignorance and discrimination from people that only seem to see one side of single parenthood.
Which in itself is unlikely....0 -
They also don't tend to refer to their child as "it"
Or post on forums asking for advice on what they can claim rather than what THEY can do.
Work it out....It really isn't hard.
Blimey talk about jumping to conclusions!!!
I'm sure everyone has referred to their unborn, unborn child as 'it' at some point.... I know that's the way I referred to all mine before I found out what I was having...
The op asked for help and advice in regards to housing and not benefits....0 -

I don't.
Because at the core of this this "child" having a child should not have been allowed to be kicked out by her parents.
The lack of personal responsibility just trickles down the chain...0 -

Some parents are carp and irresponsible it certainly doesn't mean this young couple will be the same.0 -
Go on enlighten us!
An 18 year old can hold a licence to drive a bus, some bus companies like their drivers to be a min of 21....So as the op is 21 he is covered....
tbf, it is unlikely... but nothing there that says impossible.

However, if that bit is made up, not entirely sure why the rest of the post is being interpreted as true. If it's all made up maybe this is a 46yo rocket scientist having a child.0 -

Oh really? Generally the DVLA would disagree...
