I don't think it uncommon to be earning £55k before later life, it is, after all, less than the average wage for 2 people.

(Weren't you the poster on an earlier thread who totally misunderstood how contraception failure rates were calculated?)

    no I understand perfectly thanks.

    It's strange isn't it, averages.

    1 person earning £100k and 2 earning £15k, the average is £43k....

Absolutely but my "situations" were never self inflicted and neither did I receive any finacial assistance if having paid naff all into the system............

17yr old knocked up by bf? .Its sex , not love and being a bloke I can't comment on the girl but being a bloke makes me qualified to know how a young toe rags sleazy mind works.;)

freedom like freedom to a family life? Freedom to enjoy life? Just to be clear you said a 17 year old cannot be mature enough to have a child, Did those 17yr olds that fought for our freedom have a choice whether to fight or not?..........

Ok, fine with me.... In 31yrs of working an contributing I have been out of work 3 times, each time was for 2 months so 6 months in total. The government paid my class 2 NI stamp of around £3.25 a week. In total they contributed £84.50.........

17yr olds? Yes a major choice, national service being age 18...

You seem to forget the cost of any NHS treatment you've had, any time you've needed police involvement, any time you've been kept safe by mod or intelligence service, etc.... All these things cost money.

As for it being sleazy, I wonder how many British girls were knocked up by a GI and went on to raise responsible, well adjusted members of society. Im pretty sure a number returned and married their sweethearts.

But you being 49-52 must know it all.

I'm 47 btw and no I don't know it all. For that I'd need to be a Guardian reading Liberal apologist .

Out of interest, what paper do you read?.;)

    Why would I need to do that? 110 / 3 = 40
    10/3 = 3.3

43.3k, sorry I rounded down, technically 43.3 recurring.
