Please tell me you will be doing a 2017 challenge as I could really do with the motivation to use up a lot of the stuff I have bought. I get it with good intentions of using it as gifts etc and then it just sits there. I even hoard clothing if I like the fabric just in case I can re-fashion something...loving reading through this thread.
There has been a thread for the last few years so I think it will be done 2017 too. I hope so as I think it helps motivate me.
But there is nothing to stop you joining now. set a small target of things to do - even if it's Christmas caRds and Christmas tags. Or sorting your stash. My list has been the same for ages even though I've managed to make stuff that wasn't yet on it. aim for 5 or 10 things? (Maybe less of you make giant quilts) and see how you go.... it can become addictive. Even just finishing ufos (unfinished objects) is super rewarding.
I have a busy day of crafting planned - although as my partner is off too I'm sure he'll have ideas that involve me doing house work and too shopping etc. Grrrr. Although to be fair he will be too.

Fabric might make wonderful wreaths for christmas?
You can either tie them to the wire frames or poke/glue them on te polystyrene ones - I've made both and I am planning on making some more this yearAnd you can do the tying thing with ribbon too if like me you have a scary secret stash of these hehehe

I've made two pearly inks with some ink surgical spirit and eye shadows bought for the purpose a while back. The eye shadows cost £2 for ten and I had two little bottles knocking about. So i have made up two. Used them to dye some doilies. I will do some more later. These will go into a journal I'm making so will be used up quickly. They have worked well. I will Make Some more of I can find bottles for not a lot.

I've finished the butterfly journal - completed a closure and a charm. Used up a bag of beads that's been knocking about for ages adnsome recycled charms.
Also made a Christmas charm for another journal. My partner has just told me that a colleague wants a junk journal for Christmas. So will find out what she wants and if I can do it. It's the last day of my annual leave today so will probably be slowing down on the crafty front. Boo.
Also made a set of three line stamps. From a card box.
Hope you're all well. And enjoying your rag wreaths.

I fell off the waggon. Bought three balls of pound shop wool for £2. Being in town for training was leathal.
I have used up one whole ball and bits of the others making 19 Pom Poms. Not sure if they'll be used for a wreath or a garland. Probably a garland as that won't require a wreath blank to be purchased and will use up less Pom poms. Haha

I hope you've all had a great productive day.

I have used up a leather hide cutting out 10 covers for journals. 9 in one colour and one in another.
Used one of the covers already and have plans for the one in a different colour. I have all of the pages sorted for this next journal but they will need decorating. So I'll hold fire to finish that one until I've got a full day to faff.
The bulk of the covers are red leather so perfect for Christmas journals. I have to whip one up for the mil so will probably whip up a couple of spares too.
No word on what the colleague of my partner wanted so I can't start that.
I'm glad everyone is keeping busy.
