I bought surgical spirit/rubbing alcohol online. I think it was called isopropyl alcohol.

I have Hallowe'en costumes for 2 grandchildren to do. I've started on the hardest one first - a Nexo Knight costume. After that it's the Gryffindor robe of Hermione Granger. I had to buy the fabric for the main bits of the costumes, but I'm sure I have odds and end for the decoration.

Had a full Day of Crafting today. only took breaks to Get washing out.

I have completed a Christmas junk journal for a swap. It's currently drying. In the process I threw away a full bin full of junk. Woo hoo.

I chucked a silver ink pad as the sponge seemed to be melting when I used it to ink a stamp - very odd.

While using my sissix I cut nearly 100 tags from recycled card - counting as 50 as I've used a load today.

My partner has finished 20 jars of chutney - which is a bit of a cheat to count but it has used loads of the apples up.

I have managed a charm to go with the journal. Didn't use much but something at least.

I have repurposed two leather covers.

I also made up 12 decorated paper clips and used those too.

    241 + 82 = 323 / 500.

I'm actually getting there. Woo hoo.

Hope you've all had busy days.

You ladies are probably the best to ask :)

I'm trying to find some really good headbands for attaching things to... I always buy some from a fabulous artist (it's one of my treats!) a few times of the year and my daughter loves them too... however I'm not keen on sharing my special pieces with her so I wanted to make her some all of her own! I have everything APART from the blasted headbands! Or rather alice bands... They need to be quite wide to attach things to and probably fabric covered. Any ideas? :)

They have them in the 99p shops Well As Claire's and at bigger Asda stores. Hope this helps.

Finally got some stash busting done, only a little bit but it's things that will leave the house
3 baby hats for local scbu
    7 instant smoothie hats
2 mini stocking (need to make 30 for school by Christmas)

    Brings my total to 142

I guessing we'll all be getting a bit busier in the run up to Christmas especially if we try to use some of our stash for gifts

I have used up one pack of giant ric rac a stash of paper scraps and other bits starting to make a junk journal.

    325 / 500.

Small wins but still the right direction.

I have now completed the junk journal. Finished a roll of double sided tape - 12 tags 12 altered paperclips and a mass of ribbons n scraps. Used some small boxes i'd saved and have repurposed a bright red scrap of leather.

    353 / 500.

    Tomorrow the aim Is to:
    1. tidy the craft room.
    2. Set up the printer to see if it still works.
    3. Gather all of the stuff for a steam punk journal.

Hope you're all well and busy doing things you love.

Something has happened to my tally, which I kept in my signature, so I've given up counting!

I'm loving the card. The counting doesn't matter so much as the getting through the stash.

I managed to finish another journal. I haven't done anything off the list yet though. Haha

I still have the same targets. I want to tidy the craft room, set up the printer and crack on with the steam punk junk journal. Although I am currently away so that can all wait for now. Haha

    354 / 500.

I was telling DH about this thread as I have just come across it and have craft stash bursting out of the craft room and trailing around every other room in the house. I feel like I should stand up in front of you all and say "I am squishylove1989 and I have a crafting problem"

Please tell me you will be doing a 2017 challenge as I could really do with the motivation to use up a lot of the stuff I have bought. I get it with good intentions of using it as gifts etc and then it just sits there. I even hoard clothing if I like the fabric just in case I can re-fashion something...loving reading through this thread.
