  • Morning all, I love all the recent photographed makes they all look fab.
Thank you all for the kind comments about the quilt, I'm going to need DHs help pinning the wadding and backing on so that we can work opposite sides and it stays straight so that's a job for half term when we're both off.
I knitted a little baby hat last night while watching a DVD but I still need to sew it up so its not counted as finished yet.

Have a great day all, I'll catch up with your news tonight.

Tonight I have started some bunting.

I've been meaning to get round to making some for ages. Have cut and stitched to together the triangles. Using some free fabric that came with a magazine ages ago and some screw white muslin. Was a bit of a night mare to stitch as was not very stable. Will iron flat tomorrow and will top stitch and then add to the ribbon and hang. Looking forward to this - and may even start some Autumn themed bunting too. So nothing to add to my total but I have at least started another project. I seem to have lost my dressmaking shears so am holding off cutting fabric for a tunic dress until I have found them. Which is a bit of an excuse as I need to amend the pattern too - but I will get there.

I'm hoping to hang the hunting and then figure out my Flickr password tomorrow so if I manage I will post pics.

    Glad everyone has been busy.

    Managed to finish the bunting.
I will need to dust before hanging so have put that off apparantly. Haha.

I still need to crack on with more - but pleased I've finished something.

I've also used some bits for book ends in the front room. Slowly getting there.

    Glad you're all still crafting.

  • good nimbo, that is what I call a lovely way to end the day, a positive with a smile

I used some of my stash, made a sewn top at last, so now hanging in my wardrobe
  • Another item complete, a second cross stitch picture to make a "home" themed pair for my front porch. So I've used up a second frame, some fabric, thread and craft papers. Still loads of thread and fabric to use, so I think I'll be back to greetings cards again next!

  • I am the worst person to be on this thread. Just busted enough stash for two lovely tops but :o bought more (hangs head). Lurking though as I like to see how you bust your stash

Anyway, stash busting is good if there is enthusiasm, I don`t nibble food and meals mean nothing much when I get going with crafting. Big upside is weight loss :D
  • I've been making a few cards, bringing me up to 10/100. Mostly Christmas cards, which I had part started in the last minute rush to get enough done before Christmas last year.

Weird time of year to do them I know, but I thought I could either put them away and finish them off at the last minute again this December, assuming I could find them then :o, or actually crack on and get them done in plenty of time for once :A

I'll post some pics when I've completed a few more.
