  • Crocheted 2 beards tonight (yes really!) a rather random ask from school apparently the play has a beard seller in, so he needs one to wear and some to sell. I've made two different types and will see what the verdict is tomorrow and how many more they need

Total completed makes so far. 29

These are the samples I've offered today, I've been asked for something longer and more pointy for the wearable one I have some fluffy eyelash wool so may use that.

Surprisingly I have used all the pencil cases I had made bar one (I just don't like it that much).

So made two more tonight. I want to use one as a makeup bag at work. And I'm sure I'll find a use for the other. I seem to be packing everything in them currently.

    My total is now 53 / 500.

Everyone has been super busy. So long may it last.

Definitely loving the beards - they'll look awesome on the night. Haha

    Morning all,

Total now up to 18/100 makes from stash, 2 patchwork cushions for a friend as a thank you gift. Decided to sort my stash out and put it in a bit of order. Do this at least once a week but it doesn't take long to get into such a messy state. I am putting my make challenge from 100 to 200 as the sooner I use up what I have the sooner I can start again to get another stash going. Just a joke.

    Hi all,

Loving all your makes (especially the beards Mrs MP) :) Can see our family having lots of fun with them (with a daughter called Tash what do you expect!!!) :)

I'm declaring another 4 makes - 3 birthday cards for my hubby (one from me and one each from the kids) and another page of Project Life. I'm loving doing PL monthly now - it really takes the pressure off and you can include so much more if you have had a busy week (on the negative side I don't think it uses as much stash but I am embellishing the cards more with stickers, glitter etc so hopefully it will eat into my stash eventually) :)

Total is now 65/2016.Ibest get my skates on if I'm going to meet this years target :)

On the plus side, I've still not bought anything so I'm super duper proud of myself :)

Keep up the brilliant work stash busters :)

  • WOW everyone has been so productive, I am very impressed. I haven't looked at my WIPs over the last couple of weeks but I am planning to look at some knitted squares I made a couple of years ago. I think the planned blanket may now be a couple of cushion covers!

    Grrrr! Just lost my post!

Hi, ziggy. It's good to have you back.

Those beards are ace, mrs_m. I like that you made different styles. I think I'd have panicked if I'd been asked to make them!

I went to do some Project Life today (I've had the stuff waiting for about 18 months, so it is definitely 'stash', lol.) but then I realised that the photos I wanted to start with are in the loft and I need someone to open the hatch and get the ladder down! So I played with the cards for a wee while and looked at the plastic pages and then decided I couldn't really do anything without the photos so I put the stuff away again!

I did make 3 Chinese New Year cards for my grandchildren. I had an embossing folder with monkeys on it that I've never used before. And I had peel offs of Chinese writing. And I had red cards and envelopes.

Decorated a notebook finishing 4 or 5 rolls of washi tape.

Also finished a hand made note book and thrown it away - making a tiny amount of space.

Small wins - but I'm getting there. Haha

I'm a manner of a Facebook group who have all been buying multiple packs of washi and it's been hard to resist. Hence the reason I've got my stash out to play.

Only added two to my total but have also been madly tidying up as I go.

I'm loving the cards - I need to get some paper stuff used up. These are definitely inspiration to start.
