Wow you've all been so busy since my last post (which I know was ages ago - sorry!!) :)

I'll try and catch up with all your makes later tonight but for now I'm declaring another one for my total. I finished another page of Project Life today. Every little helps and on the plus side I made it all through January without spending anything on craft :)

Lets hope I can do the same in February - so far so good :)

    Well done, CraftingMad :)

I have made a zipped purse to match the project bag, again from stash.

Finished off one notebook - and have decorated the next two. Both thin ones - so have my bujo looking good for the next few weeks. With them being thin I'll get through them quicker. Used up some inspirational quote cards as washi tape as well as some stickers from my stash.

I have had a rummage in my free craft kit drawer - nothing that I can do on the train but at least I have a better idea of what is in there.

I'm a bit frustrated I've got to 49 / 500 as 50 would be a much better number. But at least it is creeping In the right direction.

I need to come up with some small projects - as what I would like to focus on is dressmaking - but am also wanting to loose a few inches. Which would make the dressmaking easier. Looking for things that will be smaller and quicker to keep me occupied. While I try to diet a little bit. haha

I'm impressed that you didn't succumb to crafty purchases for a whole month, craftingmad! I wish I could say the same - although I have shown restraint on a few occasions!

Everyone seems to be making good progress.

Happy to say DDiL took away about 10 cards tonight so there's room in the box for some more!

  • I have made a shopping bag, like a Morsbag without the label, from a pretty pillowcase. Two more are prepped to make another day

I've 2 more patchwork runners that were finished last night which brings my makes from stash to 16.
Have a guilt that needs finishing but I do that as a pick me up when I am in the mood thing. Think my next makes are things for me such as stuff for my spring/summer wardrobe. Lots of stuff started but never finished., always another day.
Have a good day one and all.

I have produced 2 spreads in my bullet journal - decorated to keep a check of my craft spends and makes. So far made 42 at the end of January and 6.99 spend. Not great but could have been worse. (Spend wise)

Have now got to 51 makes. And spent no more. Haha

The other list is to keep a note of my savings - am aiming for the £52 week challenge - but am trying to start off with some of the larger numbers first.

I'm doing small things craft wise. I do need to actually sort out my craft room. It's on the list - haha as are many other things.

Hope you're all well and keeping busy.

  • I've just finished item 7 for 2016, using up some of my cross stitch and paper craft stash, plus a spare picture frame. It's going to be one of a pair to brighten up my front porch. Not worked out how to post a picture here yet!
